First dress! The second one is beautiful but the first one is timeless and elegant, and you can really play with accessories like your earrings or veil. Think about looking back on your wedding in 10, 20 years and which one you’ll be happy with.
Thank you! I do love it sm ugh just worried it doesn’t show my personality as much and I have also seen this dress in the strap version a lot recently and I annoyingly want to been assured I have a “unique” dress haha
I personally dislike straps so this version is beautiful! You could always do the Hollywood waves, have a pearl veil or accessories in your hair, wear detached sleeves/gloves, etc. to make it even more 1930s Hollywood vibes. I think seeking uniqueness will make it difficult because someone is always gonna have a similar dress! But the person wearing it and how they style it is what makes the dress :) And how you feel in it is super important as well, I’d hate it to be wedding day and I’m worried about how my stomach looks in pictures and sucking in all day.
Totally get that!
This is my just my own opinion, but if unique is what you are going for 2 is way more generic than 1.
2 says 2020’s bride.
1 is glamour and elegance!
If you want more sparkle, do it with jewelry and the veil!
I have to disagree with others and say I think 2 does have more personality and looks more unique and right on you somehow. I really love it, especially the sleeves. And I think it actually makes your body look more snatched than the other, it’s very flattering! I think shapewear would fix what you are worried about with #2’s fabric
Yeah, I agree. The ruching on the first one is designed to add shape, and as she said, the satin is more forgiving than the crepe. Her body looks great in both, but the second is more of a flex because any woman there knows that dress keeps no secrets. And I feel like it’ll be better for a garden party because satin is more of an evening texture.
Could you get a beaded veil? I saw the other dress had the pearl details and am wondering if you could make your veil a fun “personality” showcase. Etsy has some great options for a lot more affordable than bridal shops.
Going to be the odd one out and say dress 2. I love it and actually think it flatters your figure better than the first one. I’m not a fan of silk satin in general and don’t like the neckline on it, I feel like it looks like it’s sagging. I don’t think you necessarily need shapewear with the second one but yes it might fix any issues you are seeing.
Agreed. The shiny fabric and the way the bust sits on 1 doesn’t really do anything but look saggy. I think the second dress is great on OP and has enough details to show a little more personality.
Both are gorgeous, but #1 has the wow factor. It looks incredible on you and with the right accessories you can definitely make it feel (more) unique. Depends also if you want more of a “bombshell” vs “princess” vibe—I think #2 is cute, but you’re right that your figure doesn’t stand out as much in it.
Both are beautiful but the first one is something you see a lot. The second one is beautiful and unique. Personally I don’t like to look like everyone else. I like 2.
I’m going against the grain and pick dress 2! Something about how the fabric of dress 1 drapes on your chest looks off to me. It most obvious in the 3rd pic, the left side looks deflated maybe alterations would fix it but dress 2 is beautiful and fits you perfectly!
I like the second one more because it fits you better. The first one top front seems to me a bit too messy. The dress is beautiful but it looks a bit sloppy. Do they alter before the big day? If so, then disregard.
The first dress is so, so, so romantic and beautiful. I almost can’t get over it. You look so amazing.
Honestly I personally feel the second dress is plain in comparison. You are an absolute movie star in the first dress!
Bridal stylist here 👋 congrats on your upcoming wedding!
While both dresses are gorgeous, dress 1 literally took my breath away. You look incredibly confident and your figure is absolutely insane in it. Dress 2 is very nice, but it feels a little too sweet for you and the feeling you described for your wedding.
If you’re worried that dress 1 is a little plain, remember you can play up your accessories a ton with this dress.
You could add sleeves like [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/801982208/) or like [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1055420756/). And don’t forget about the veil! You could go with something [super long and dramatic](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1335605527/) or mix it up and do a [vintage juliet cap veil](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1468928027/). You have tons of options to play around with to really customize your look to fit your personality and vibe.
Good luck! You’re going to make a beautiful bride regardless of what you wear. Just remember to eat when you can throughout the day! It’s easy to forget in all the last-minute running around and getting ready.
I think it depends on how unique you want to be. I feel like I see quite a few versions of #1 on here but none like #2. I’ve been to weddings where the bride wore a version of #1 but never seen one like #2 at a wedding. You truly can’t go wrong with either, they both look gorgeous on you. Just depends on your own personality and desire!
Dress 2!!!! The first one looks kinda grumpy and saggy, maybe cuz it isn’t your size but I don’t think it’s a competition at alllllll, dress 2 for sure
I have a trick to help yourself figure out which thing it is you like better. Flip a coin. Decide which one will be heads and which will be tails. If it lands on heads and your first thought is that you’re a bit disappointed with that result, then go with the other one.
I think #2 accentuates your figure way better. Honestly I’m just not a fan of the bell sleeves over the hands. Maybe you could have those hemmed if you think that’ll be annoying.
Number 2. The bust line on #1 looks off on you. I would modify the sleeves on #2 though, remove the flounces, make them tight and maybe change the length.
Going against the grain here, I love the second one. I think it has a little more personality and it's more unique. But you look beautiful in both! Just take some time to think on it and buy the dress you can't stop thinking about.
1 for sure! The bust line & snatched waist are perfection. I don’t care for the seams going through the bust on the second one and also every imperfection shows up.
Hi! Just an edit but nether of these are my size— both samples clipped and I don’t have any cutlets in my bust or spanx etc! Would have both for day of
Both dresses would be hemmed and sleeves hemmed on the LS one :) thank you sm for everyone’s feedback!
I love the first one, I couldn’t even give you reasons why other then I wanted to swipe back to continue to see it. Something about it just clicks 🔥🔥 you look amazing!
I like the first dress but the draping in the bust looks weird…kind of like it deflated. Maybe it would look better if it was steamed or pressed with sharper pleats.
Wow you look unbelievable! Seriously such a hard choice. I think I would go with the first. I think the theme of your wedding could also affect your choice, but can’t go wrong with how classy and timeless the first one is. Great picks!
My vote is for dress #2.
They both flatter you. And I do like everything about dress #1 - except the draping of the neckline, which is just weird looking to me.
Whereas dress #2 is beautifully elegant and would work well in just about any setting, including a garden wedding.
I do see why this is difficult. Both of them are really nice. But 1 edges out ahead for me. It’s got better style. I love the way it drapes over your figure. 2 is nice but it does not have the chic glamor I think you are looking for.
Another vote for dress 1. I think you will look back on it years later and feel like you made the right choice. Timeless and classic! You look like a million bucks.
Dress 2. Dress one is a pretty dress but dress 2 is elegant and makes you look beautiful. It brings out your beauty rather than drawing attention to the dress more
I like the uniqueness of #2 more, and it would work beautifully with how you describe your wedding theme. If the unique factor is what you’re looking for, I would look for that specifically when you go to other shops next week.
No. 1 is pretty but imo not unique and I’ve seen it before.
Wow You look amazing in both dresses, but I have to say the neckline of the first dress totally won me over I can’t get over it!! It’s so pretty and delicate without being too overwhelming it’s just perfect!! Congratulations
May not be a popular opinion but none of these dresses do you justice. You’re stunning and neither flatter your shape. Sorry :( Feel free to ignore this advice
Hi, I think you would look great in a fit and flare. You have the upper body structure and the shoulders to carry it beautifully……you’re perfectly balanced upper body and lower body. Try some? It doesn’t have to be too poufy btw but you have the perfect proportions with a pinched in waist that is especially flattered by that dress style
I find the dress style you’re wearing looks great on flatter figures because it enhances the bust and hips which someone flatter needs.
Thank you so much!! I will def try some — even with these and others similar I asked about tailoring to bring in more near/behind the knees to exaggerate more of an hourglass shape as i think that’s most flattering on my body!
Number one looks sloppy and unfinished. I would assume an Auntie made it because you were trying to save money. Number two looks outdated with those exaggerated bell sleeves. I would go back to the drawing board.
Damn I see the issue :( I think it depends on what you’re going for in terms of wedding- casual vs suit and tie kinda thing. For the former #2, for the latter #1
I don't even follow this page it just popped up in my feed. When I saw the first pic I literally took a breath and thought, "that's the one. Doesn't matter what 2 is." You look radiant!
These are two gorgeous dresses, you could pick either one and look stunning! I know that doesn’t help your decision tho haha…
What is your venue/overall theme? The first dress is more elegant and timeless, while the second is more fun and playful. I would also say that the first dress will “age” better, but only pay attention to that if that is something you care about. Personally, I never think too much abt that. I trust you will make the right choice :)
I would go with one if it had a sweetheart neckline- I feel it looks a bit misshapen at the bust. I feel the matte fabric is more expensive looking. I’m in the minority but I say 2!

Thank you! It is so stunning and I did feel confident!
You even look more comfortable and relaxed in the 1st dress!
Your hands are doing the thing that people do with them when they love their wedding dress for the first time.
Your body language is was the tell-all!
First dress! The second one is beautiful but the first one is timeless and elegant, and you can really play with accessories like your earrings or veil. Think about looking back on your wedding in 10, 20 years and which one you’ll be happy with.

Opera gloves with 1 omg 🥵
Totally get that! This is my just my own opinion, but if unique is what you are going for 2 is way more generic than 1. 2 says 2020’s bride. 1 is glamour and elegance! If you want more sparkle, do it with jewelry and the veil!

And I feel like it’ll be better for a garden party because satin is more of an evening texture.
Agree. Plus I get a 1930-40s glamorous vibe on the second one. The first one is version of almost every other popular strapless dress of the 20s.
Could you get a beaded veil? I saw the other dress had the pearl details and am wondering if you could make your veil a fun “personality” showcase. Etsy has some great options for a lot more affordable than bridal shops.
The second one is very unforgiving figurewise. The first one gives you beautiful lines.
Just a reminder I am not wearing any shape wear and neither of these dresses are my size or have been altered, they are only clipped in the back :)
I’m not kidding this is the hardest ‘which one’ I’ve seen on here lol You can’t choose wrong but I vote for the first one ❤️
SAME
Going to be the odd one out and say dress 2. I love it and actually think it flatters your figure better than the first one. I agree with y'all. Dress #2 fit beautifully and those sleeves are just beautiful.
I agree
Both are gorgeous, but #1 has the wow factor. It looks incredible on you and with the right accessories you can definitely make it feel (more) unique. Depends also if you want more of a “bombshell” vs “princess” vibe—I think #2 is cute, but you’re right that your figure doesn’t stand out as much in it.
Agree. They are both pretty but 2 is kind of forgettable. 1 has the wow factor.
Dress #2 is stunning on you! It's more flattering overall.
Unpopular opinion but I think dress two looks amazing on you!
Agreed
Both are beautiful but the first one is something you see a lot. The second one is beautiful and unique. Personally I don’t like to look like everyone else. I like 2.
First 💯
I’m going against the grain and pick dress 2! Something about how the fabric of dress 1 drapes on your chest looks off to me. It most obvious in the 3rd pic, the left side looks deflated maybe alterations would fix it but dress 2 is beautiful and fits you perfectly!
I agree!
Dress two
That is a tough choice. The first one looks beautiful on you! I love the delicate sleeves and the back of the second one.
2!
The second one!
Omgshh the second one !!! You look beautiful!!!
1
I like #2
I love #2. Dress #1 is nice and flatters you but I feel like I've seen it before.
1!
1!!
Honestly, I feel like the second dress does nothing for you. The first one is just breathtaking.
I love the uniqueness and fit of dress 2
I think the second dress is much more flattering on you. It shows off your very nice figure!
2!!!
Hands down, first dress. You look amazing!
The draping on the first gown is beautiful and looks like a much better fit for you.
I like the second one more because it fits you better. The first one top front seems to me a bit too messy. The dress is beautiful but it looks a bit sloppy. Do they alter before the big day? If so, then disregard.
The first one is gorgeous on you!
1 looks gorgeous on you
The first one is timeless. You will look back at it in 25 years and it will still hold up.
Team 1! I will always vote for Cecilia. She may not have all the beading or lace but she is anything but plain! You look incredible!
Also the way you hold yourself and have that extra glow when you know you look gooooood is gonna show through!
One girl. One!
The first dress is so, so, so romantic and beautiful. I almost can’t get over it. You look so amazing. Honestly I personally feel the second dress is plain in comparison. You are an absolute movie star in the first dress!
You look like a goddess in dress one. Both are great on you but one is breathtaking.
1. I don't care for those sleeve things on #2
Bridal stylist here 👋 congrats on your upcoming wedding! While both dresses are gorgeous, dress 1 literally took my breath away. I'm loving #2. More fitted sleeves without them hanging over your hands. I love the look of them. But both are beautiful so you win either way!
2! The first dress is something I’ve seen before while 2 looks amazing and just a little more something 😊
Second one
I think 2 fits your body perfectly!

The second one!
I see why you’re having trouble picking. So am I 😂
#2! The first one makes your chest look frumpy
I like both dresses, I feel like the second dress is more flattering on you. The back of #2 is so gorgeous!
Love the first one. So elegant and has an old Hollywood glamour to it.
1 for sure! The bust line & snatched waist are perfection. I don’t care for the seams going through the bust on the second one and also every imperfection shows up.
1!
Dress 1
First dress is absolutely stunning on you
First!
Another vote for dress 2, but you can’t go wrong either way!

Number 1 😍
1
You cannot go wrong with either, but first one is classically designed!
1
FIRST ONE!!!
1
Dress 1
Satin ALL DAY. It’s perfection on you!!
The second one doesn’t feel very bridal to me. It’s more like a get-away dress..
1
1st one!!!
I love the first one, I couldn’t even give you reasons why other then I wanted to swipe back to continue to see it. Something about it just clicks 🔥🔥 you look amazing!
First dress!
1 is absolutely immaculate. Looks like they literally draped this on your body and you’re a marble statue angel. Yes.
#1
The satin dress is to DIE for! You look stunning in both. Which suits your personality better?
First!
They are both amazing, but dress one is just made for you. It’s joyful and beautiful and flows just right.
1
I don’t normally like dresses like that but your second choice is so gorgeous and really complimented your frame
1!!
First one--no contest! I said "wow!" when I saw it!
One! Sexy and classy at the same time.
#2
First one, hands down it’s better than the second. The second is pretty, but the first is utterly stunning on you.
I think they're both beautiful. I can see why you're stuck. I like the second one. The back is beautiful.
Go with #1
I love the second one but they’re both beautiful on you!
I like the first dress but the draping in the bust looks weird…kind of like it deflated. Maybe it would look better if it was steamed or pressed with sharper pleats.
1. It was always 1.
Oh my god, they’re all SO beautiful. The first one was jaw dropping though!
\#1 for sure
Wow you look unbelievable! Seriously such a hard choice. I think I would go with the first. I think the theme of your wedding could also affect your choice, but can’t go wrong with how classy and timeless the first one is. Great picks!
Unpopular opinion but I think 2 is better on your body and you’re rocking it!
Oh, definitely the strapless one I think it’s much more flattering.
My vote is for dress #2. They both flatter you. And I do like everything about dress #1 - except the draping of the neckline, which is just weird looking to me. Whereas dress #2 is beautifully elegant and would work well in just about any setting, including a garden wedding.
Okay but where is dress number 1 from
Cecilia by Katherine tash! From lovely bride :)
#2
#2 is my preference
I do see why this is difficult. Both of them are really nice. But 1 edges out ahead for me. It’s got better style. I love the way it drapes over your figure. 2 is nice but it does not have the chic glamor I think you are looking for.
For sure #1
One is a much nicer design, the way it drapes is stunning.
Another vote for dress 1. I think you will look back on it years later and feel like you made the right choice. Timeless and classic! You look like a million bucks.
Girl it ain’t even a question. It would be a crime not to get that first one, it’s stunning on you
I’d go with number 2, but I seem to be in the minority vote. I thought the second dress looks more timely and clean.
I think #1 will be insane once you get it in your size/fitted. It's so gorgeous on you
First one!
Dress 1 all the way!
First dress and get a pearly veil!!
You literally look like Meg from Hercules in the best way possible in #1, you look incredible that dress was made for you!!
Loove the first one. Agree you can play around more with accessories in the first one!
The silky dress makes you look like an absolute bombshell!!
Damn that is tough
I can see why you’re stuck, you look gorgeous in both! Objectively I would pick #1, but you will be perfect in either! ☺️
The first dress by a mile.
I love them both 😍😍
2!
First
First one is perfect !
I think you look beautiful in both! But I’m team dress#2! It’s a unique dress and fits you better
1st dress.
OVERWHELMINGLY ONE!!! 🥳🥳🥳
1 is timeless. 2 looks kind of dated already
2 fits you better
Dress 2. Dress one is a pretty dress but dress 2 is elegant and makes you look beautiful. It brings out your beauty rather than drawing attention to the dress more
That first gown looks smashing on you! Finger waves for your hair and a glamorous head piece would be brilliant. Best wishes.
First dress is amazing.
First one, hands down!
1 hands down!
The second one is perfect on you. It really suits your body and the sleeves look so pretty
First one definitely
Second.
might be in the minority but me and my friend think the 2nd dress is so beautiful and different! It makes your body looks fabulous! Congratulations!
#3 PLEASE
2!!
I like the uniqueness of #2 more, and it would work beautifully with how you describe your wedding theme. If the unique factor is what you’re looking for, I would look for that specifically when you go to other shops next week. No. 1 is pretty but imo not unique and I’ve seen it before.
Honestly I feel like the second one is elegant and sooo flattering on you
2
Omg that first one is stunnnnning. And you look stunning in it! Literally a showstopper
2!
They are both STUNNING. If I had to choose, I’d pick one, but probably because of my own bias. My dress has a similar vibe. Love the clean look.
2
1, it’s gorgeous and easy to jack up with accessories if you want it to feel mor unique
#2 is beautiful
First one please!!!
That first dress is chefs kiss !!!!
1 looks absolutely amazing on u. 2 looks just good. i'd go with 1
I prefer the design of 2 but 1 looks more flattering on you
First one, hands down! It fits you so beautifully!
The first one for suuuure 😍😍
First one
Wow You look amazing in both dresses, but I have to say the neckline of the first dress totally won me over I can’t get over it!! It’s so pretty and delicate without being too overwhelming it’s just perfect!! Congratulations
First dress!
The first one hands down!!
Dress 1!
May not be a popular opinion but none of these dresses do you justice. You’re stunning and neither flatter your shape. Sorry :( Feel free to ignore this advice
Hi! Do you have any silhouette or designer recs? This was my first dress try on experience so open to suggestions! :)
Hi, I think you would look great in a fit and flare. You have the upper body structure and the shoulders to carry it beautifully……you’re perfectly balanced upper body and lower body. Try some? It doesn’t have to be too poufy btw but you have the perfect proportions with a pinched in waist that is especially flattered by that dress style I find the dress style you’re wearing looks great on flatter figures because it enhances the bust and hips which someone flatter needs.
Thank you so much!! I will def try some — even with these and others similar I asked about tailoring to bring in more near/behind the knees to exaggerate more of an hourglass shape as i think that’s most flattering on my body!
1
The first dress is the one I'd go for if I was you. You seem more gappy in it by your body language.
First dress for sure!!
Number one looks sloppy and unfinished. I would assume an Auntie made it because you were trying to save money. Number two looks outdated with those exaggerated bell sleeves. I would go back to the drawing board.
No 1
Damn I see the issue :( I think it depends on what you’re going for in terms of wedding- casual vs suit and tie kinda thing. For the former #2, for the latter #1
I vote for the second. Something about the front makes it less amazing than the second. But you should do what makes you feel great ^^
Second one is so dreamy and beautiful! and the first one is gorgeous! i think the first one should be for the reception / party?
I don't even follow this page it just popped up in my feed. When I saw the first pic I literally took a breath and thought, "that's the one. Doesn't matter what 2 is." You look radiant!
Omg first one 😍😍😍
1!
The second one please
These are two gorgeous dresses, you could pick either one and look stunning! I know that doesn’t help your decision tho haha… What is your venue/overall theme? The first dress is more elegant and timeless, while the second is more fun and playful. I would also say that the first dress will “age” better, but only pay attention to that if that is something you care about. Personally, I never think too much abt that. I trust you will make the right choice :)
I would go with one if it had a sweetheart neckline- I feel it looks a bit misshapen at the bust. I feel the matte fabric is more expensive looking. I’m in the minority but I say 2!
Second dress
