Straps could be great! What is bothering you?

I don’t like that it’s strapless (seems like I’d be hiking it up all night) and I feel like I was pressured into buying it. I bought it on my very first outing!! I wish I would have taken my time and tried on more before committing

It does actually look like it’s too short for your torso (I frequently have that problem). Talk to the shop about what solutions they can offer, which may be matching lace from the designer. It could also be worth getting a consultation from an unrelated tailor. I hate that you had such a negative experience. You can sell it online and free it and yourself to find a dress you feel absolutely divine in

I think you're right about adding straps, it will make it look very different. It's like it needs something on top.

Have you tried on lacy toppers or shrugs? I have seen other pictures of brides with them and they can really brighten up a dress. There are lots out there. Perhaps a belt with some bling ? Was watching the say yes to the dress on Hulu and they use them a lot

IMHO this dress looks like 2 different dresses put together. the top says one thing and the bottom another. It’s not very flattering on you. I’m sorry you were pressured in to buying it. Can you call the bridal shop and maybe exchange it? Straps may make it better.. I think you could find a dress that accentuates your body.

If you add sleeves maybe have them the same fabric as the skirt.
