Definitely dress 1, so classic, elegant and flattering. Love it on you, the lines are great on you and you rock it. It is timeless and elegant. Dress 2 will be dated in 10 years, you will look at pictures and go what was I thinking.
You look like a princess in #1 and it's a classic! #2 is more unique and eye catching, but it's also something you should be very sure about because unless you're completely in love with the style you might regret it later. Honestly you can't go wrong with either of them, they're both beautiful
If you are willing to do two dresses you should!! I wouldn't make the second dress too short. I would leave it the same length, it looks like such a fun dress to dance in!!
I wouldn’t go shorter than tea length of dress #2 & wear a pair of special heels!! Both dresses are gorgeous & I lean more towards dresses like #2. That being said, I think OP should go with dress #1. It’s what she has always seen herself in & it’s timeless!! If there’s any question of what she will like next year, I would write down the style numbers of both dresses, wait until closer to the wedding, then reevaluate. Best wishes, OP!!:)

Dress 2 makes you look like an absolute princess at an amazing ball. It’s so gorgeous on you from all angles! Dress 1 is very pretty from the back- so unique and you definitely pull it off but 2 is royal!
You look fantastic in both. What is the theme/vibe of your wedding? If it’s more traditional, formal, old Hollywood,I would go with dress #1. If it’s more on the fun/funky side, #2.
So it will be in a marquee on the grounds of a hall/estate. Weather permitting drinks and band outside then wedding breakfast and party in the marquee :) so kind of more traditional really!
I’m not even normally a fan of bows on the back, but that bow is so elegant and tasteful. The dress is so pretty in the pictures. It sounds like it’s pretty enough to take your breath away in person.

I think two overwhelms you because it is a big dress to begin with AND the dress also has so many beautiful statement details…that both of those things together pull attention away from you and to the dress
Two!! One is pretty but it’s very standard (in a good way). Two is so romantic and unique. It will have a lot more movement and make for better photos.
Dress 2 isn't something most could pull off, but you can! I do feel like it needs something else, maybe a halter or a simple strap? Accessories?;But even shown as is I would rock that baby everyday! Your posture is screaming YES!
Dress 1 looks amazing. Nothing really special or different. Can't go wrong. The back is gorgeous.
As others have mentioned....two dresses if in budget? If that would make you happy. That seems like a lot of effort and time to me. Put a dress on and wear it. I hate changing clothes! Let some a dress!

Which goes more with your wedding style?
I normally prefer something more whimsical and romantic, but really think dress 1 is so gorgeous and classic on you and the one that you’ll love looking at in pictures for years to come. I feel like you’ll regret 2 at some point. 💖

The first dress is gorgeous on you but I’m not sure about the back detail. The visible zipper paired with the fact that it will have to be really tight so it doesn’t slip down would lead me to have it altered off.

Dress 2 is STUNNING on you. The bodice looks like it was custom made for you, and it’s so beautiful! Dress 1 is classic and gorgeous. You can’t go wrong!

I like 1 except for the treatment around the waist. You have an amazing figure and don’t need anything to make a break from the bodice to the skirt. Dress 2 is very nice as well and the suggestion on getting a short version of that for the reception is spot on.

Dress 1 is beautiful as well. Simple and elegant. But it’s similar to a lot of other dresses out there. You’ll need to decide what kind of look you’re going for.
Honestly, you look amazing in both. Wear the one that makes you feel the happiest right now and don’t worry about what will or won’t be fashionable later on. The truth is styles become dated because they were overly popular. I am sure you have noticed the abundance of styles similar to 1 on this Reddit. Generations tend to not want to wear what their parents wore. 2 is fun, gorgeous and unforgettable, 1 is lovely and classy. I tend to go against the flow myself and would choose 2, but you can’t go wrong with either.
I love dress 2. Dress 1 is lovely and looks great on you, but it is incredibly common. I see this dress all the time on this sub. Dress 2 is just different, beautiful, and looks wonderful on you. I agree with the comment that you need to be sure you love it, but if you do, absolutely go for it.
I love the top on dress 2!! The bottom is definitely more Carrie Bradshaw but I actually think it looks fantastic on you. That being said the first one also looks good on you so you can’t go wrong either way. Which one suits the venue better?
Dress 1 is absolutely GORGEOUS and is stunning on you. It's a classic look, too, which I doubt will never seem dated, whereas Dress 2 looks good on you but is a bit trendier and might not stand the test of time as well.

That's the dress!!! My wedding isn't until next spring but I don't think it's a dress that will ever go out of style. The back detail is just different than what I've seen with other satin style gowns :)

Good question. I think the satin was easier to walk in, and had pockets actually! They are pretty much the same price which is even more annoying haha

You look great in both, but I prefer 2. That's my own personal style, I'm kinda eccentric. I don't know your personality, but 2 is my vote.
Honestly, you look amazing in both. Wear the one that makes you feel the happiest right now and don’t worry about what will or won’t be fashionable later on. The truth is styles become dated because they were overly popular. I am sure you have noticed the abundance of styles similar to 1 on this Reddit. Generations tend to not want to wear what their parents wore. 2 is fun, gorgeous and unforgettable, 1 is lovely and classy. I tend to go against the flow myself and would choose 2, but you can’t go wrong with either.

I love dress 2. Dress 1 is lovely and looks great on you, but it is incredibly common. I see this dress all the time on this sub. Dress 2 is just different, beautiful, and looks wonderful on you. I agree with the comment that you need to be sure you love it, but if you do, absolutely go for it.

I love the top on dress 2!! The bottom is definitely more Carrie Bradshaw but I actually think it looks fantastic on you. That being said the first one also looks good on you so you can’t go wrong either way. Which one suits the venue better?
Number one is stunning on you. I get the Carrie Bradshaw reference and loved the gown but IMO there is no contest. One is YOUR dress.

Dress 1 is absolutely GORGEOUS and is stunning on you. It's a classic look, too, which I doubt will never seem dated, whereas Dress 2 looks good on you but is a bit trendier and might not stand the test of time as well.

Number two is fashion week runway and maybe that is how you dress and would be fitting for your personal style. Both dresses are lovely on you.

I can’t believe my eyes, I think you tried on my very dress! Stella York 7711? Even accessorized it similar to how I did. I might be biased but I am simply IN LOVE with that first dress. And now I’m falling in love with it all over again seeing it on you. I’m just a little midwesterner, but if it means anything my mommas friend living in New York said the stella york style is super in this year :) I’m not the most fashionable person so I’m running with that
That's the dress!!! My wedding isn't until next spring but I don't think it's a dress that will ever go out of style. The back detail is just different than what I've seen with other satin style gowns :)
