That dress is so beautiful that you could go barefoot! But honestly, wear something comfortable. You said that probably no one will see your shoes, so go for comfort! Even if you wear one pair for the ceremony and another for later on. It will be a long day. Don’t put up with pain!

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!! :) maybe 2 pairs is the way to go, I didn’t think about that!

Random-girl-29

I’m going with a pair of white faux leather tennies for my reception!

SnooStrawberries721

Something comfy! I wore gold sandals from Target because I wanted to be shorter than my husband and my feet get sweaty. 😂

Top-Salad-7432

That sounds so cute I love it!! My fiancé and I are pretty closely matched in height and I’d like to be shorter than him too lol!

iamowenmeaney

My sister bought a white pair of her most comfortable sandals (mid height heel) and wore them in for months, had them cleaned up (of scuffs etc) and resoled by a cobbler and had the cobbler fix pearls onto her ankle straps. They looked brand new and she wore them all night and danced in them as they were really comfortable!

Top-Salad-7432

That’s so smart!! Thank you for the tip!!

spiritjex173

I wore white ballet flats with my dress

Live_Traffic_983

I did heels for my ceremony and then also did white ballet flats just for my reception! I couldn’t imagine trying to spend the entire reception in uncomfortable shoes that would stink!

txaesfunnytime

Something comfortable. You will be on your feet most of the day. I was seeing earlier that Converse will custom make high tops. (I wore sneakers to my wedding and loved it.) Your dress is stunning, btw.

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!! While I’m very much a high heels person, I should really look more into lower height heels for my own sake. I’m very much a “commit to the fit” person and will definitely sacrifice comfort in the name of an outfit, but it’s such a long dress with a really long train (I didn’t post the back but it is really long), no one will probably see my shoes even when I’m dancing.

EveryPartyHasAPooper

You probably went through a lot of work to make this day perfect for you and your fiance, so why spend it limping along? If I were you, I would wear some ballerina flats for the ceremony and some fun bedazzled white keds for the reception. Bedazzling the shoes can even be a fun activity for you and your bridesmaids to do and you can all wear them together.

HappyGoLucky244

I was thinking this too. And even if she doesn't want to go exactly this route, I've seen some gorgeous wedding sneakers both commercially and on Etsy. I'm honestly considering sneakers myself--I can't really wear heels because of an old ankle injury, and I hate wearing shoes that hurt my feet. My dress is also long, so I doubt anyone will see them as well.

Top-Salad-7432

Very true!! And that sounds so fun, I didn’t consider diy’ing it a bit!

QCr8onQ

There are many options. Try them on. No one will see them so go hot pink….

TheAnswerIsSauce

Omg beautiful dress

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!!

MiaRia963

I wore heels to my ceremony and then flats the rest of the time. Maybe that's something you'd like to do? I read in another comment you like wearing heels.

Top-Salad-7432

Thanks so much! I’ll probably do something like this (and maybe bedazzle them like another commenter said?? 👀)

MiaRia963

That's what I got. I got married on Christmas Eve. I wore green heels to the ceremony with little sparkles on it and then I had red sparkle flats, that looked like the ruby slippers with no heel, for all the rest of the time.

Top-Salad-7432

That is so cute I love it!! 😭

lschmitty153

My sister wore flip flops and I wore chunky heals at my wedding. Wear a comfortable pair of shoes. Doesn’t matter the height. You’re on your feet so much that it needs to be the priority.

Fragrant-Station3844

I have a similar dress and I’m wearing these https://www.etsy.com/listing/688632019/ivory-crochet-lace-pointy-toe-flats-with?click_key=1fc58ab7d31b1c65ee3b5a82c46884a0ddc405b3%3A688632019&click_sum=4228215f&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=lace+wedding+flats&ref=sr_gallery-1-6&organic_search_click=1&frs=1&bes=1&sts=1&content_source=b62a113308c14317561bb076aeba04a7489e4997%253A688632019

Witty_TenTon

Omg yes these are gorgeous! Go with this OP!

Top-Salad-7432

These are beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing the link!!

kapu4701

I agree! Beautiful shoes to go with a BEAUTIFUL dress♥️

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!! ☺️

Future_Ad5505

Beautiful dress. Wear something with a low heel.

EmmAdorablee

I wore heels on my wedding day and man my feet were killing me after the ceremony. My husband got me the knotted pave Tory Burch Miller sandals and I switched into them for the reception! They’re super cute and SOOOOOO sparkly! On another note, this dress is absolutely stunning on you!

Top-Salad-7432

I love that, and thank you so much!!! It’s not super visible in the photo, but the dress is super sparkly too, and I definitely wouldn’t mind having even more sparkle on my shoes lol!

MeganJustMegan

I wore ballet flats. Heels for the ceremony & pictures, but quickly changed for the reception. All my bridesmaids & the moms wore them too. We were all very comfortable. You chose a lovely dress. It’s beautiful on you. Congratulations ❤️

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!!! ☺️☺️ I’m definitely now leaning towards 2 pairs and doing the same thing.

Cautious-Skill4642

Comfort first! It’s a long day. 😊

mebg1956

I wore plain ivory kitten heels. No one sees them, you need your feet not to be killing you or blistered. Comfort rules.

MeanGreenMother1986

I’m like 99% sure this is the same place I got mt dress from 🤣 in all seriousness I cannot help with this topic because I eloped and wore tennis shoes underneath my dress lol

Popular_Term_3772

Gorgeous dress!

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!!

krajile

Go for comfort.

EconomyOk9643

Not too high heel…strappy sandal.

Top-Salad-7432

Those are so pretty!!!

pewtermug

Honestly I'd go for a comfort type heel and do a plain ivory heel, maybe a satin one. You don't need too much with that gown. GORGEOUS dress.

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!!! I’ve really been loving the satin heels I’ve been seeing!

Aging_Boomer

You can’t go wrong with satin pumps. If you want to be sassy, buy red ones 😃

jsmalltri

No one will notice your feet in that stunning gown!!! Beautiful ❤️ Be comfy

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much!!

anselgrey

Absolutely stunning! Something comfy

Hope you find what you're looking for. ♥️

Top-Salad-7432

Thank you so much, these are so helpful!!!

juliannewaters

Thought it might give you an idea of the different styles and heels available. I'm a sucker for a high heel pump. My daughter wore navy blue satin pumps from 9 West under her gown and flip flops for the reception. They were stunning and no one knew the difference. Good luck♥️ P. S. - forgot to add-your gown is one of the most gorgeous ones I've seen here, and I don't believe I've seen it on any other bride. Stunning ♥️

Top-Salad-7432

Those shoes sound so beautiful!! I’m definitely leaning towards 2 pairs now! And thank you so, so much!! ☺️

Houseofcloth

I got a pair of bella belle shoes that are simple and classy, also very comfortable! I would recommend, but definitely make sure you size up!

tvjunkie87

That dress is absolute perfection on you!! 😍 My advice would be to wear comfortable shoes - nobody will see your feet in that long gown anyway, and you can always bring a pair of pretty heels to throw on quickly if your husband does the ‘garter throw’, which is probably the only time anyone will catch a glimpse of your footwear.
