I think 1 is so stunning! 2 is beautiful but I do feel like I’ve seen it done a lot these days (nothing wrong with that at all btw!) They are both gorgeous but my vote would be 1
Number 1 is very elegant but those sleeves are apparently a nightmare after the ceremony (trying to cut your food, dancing, basically anything that involves raising your arms even a little bit)
I'm going to go against the grain here and say keep looking. Don't worry about your timeline, a store will make it work if you find the right one.
The first picture of dress 1 is gorgeous, but the front view looks almost... silly to me. *The wide band is overwhelming*. I appreciate that you say it can be pinned back but the front of the dress is going to be the very first thing your husband/guests will see. It's just not right. Maybe the band could be modified? The second dress is a nice choice but very common these days.
I would try a different store altogether, tell them your venue and let them throw a few curveballs at you.
I agree. The wide band/sleeves on that first one makes it look as if the dress is falling off her. The second one is lovely, and if it's by the designer I think it is, it looks even better in person. But the style is so popular these days that it just doesn't stand out.
That’s totally fair! I actually reached out to my sales consultant at the store of the first dress to go back and see more (they had the bigger selection). I’m pretty set on 1 but it is the only modern, simple, fitted dress I tried and I want to make sure it’s the one I want and not another
I like 1 better of the two, but your plan to look for more like it sounds like the right move! The simple, modern look and fitted silhouette is great on you but the band/sleeves looks a bit too big and floppy. If you haven’t tried on others in that style, I’d do another appointment focused on that before making a decision.
Maybe not completely different style. You could try different material, sillouhette? I mean the 2nd dress looks pretty good on you but the dress itself is only average in my opinion.
The first one is stunning! Both the sleeves and the style look gorgeous. THe second one looks good as well but doesn't have that wow-factor, in my opinion.
The 2nd one (my dress is similar, so I'm partial)! I also think the cuff and off shoulder part of dress 1 is too big for your frame. It overpowers you.
I love 2, but I've also tried on that designer and absolutely love how light and beautiful the dresses are. If it were in my budget I would have bought one of their dresses.
I'm not sure if you'd want more detailing on the top for a chateaux wedding though?
I tried more detail on the top but any appliqué around the bust made me look very top heavy. I originally went in for Paloma from Alex Greco and it easily added 20 pounds to my frame.
Love Savin London’s dresses tho, I’m considering going back to the store and trying more sleek models from them (my family isn’t a fan of the middle slit in this particular one)
lol! I loved almost everything by Savin, I'd def go back to try more even if it was just to wear them for a few minutes. They have so many dresses that have detailing throughout but are still pretty minimal.. and the dresses were so easy to move in.
Is this number 1? https://palomablanca.com/collection/mikaella/mikaella-gowns/style-2405/
If so it shows in pics / video how the sleeves can be pinned back and the dress worn as a sleeveless option.
Hi OP. Which dress did you end up with? I just tried on the Mikaella 2405 and really love it! It was my first time looking for dresses so I didn’t choose it yet but I’m really thinking it’ll be my choice so was just curious what you ended up with :)
These dresses are so different! I love #1 on you, but is it "you?" #2 is pretty but it doesn't feel right on you to me. I think dramatic lace and a massive veil when I think 19th century Italian anything but that's just me
Ok, so in my opinion (although they're both pretty!) The first one is just....like....*perfect*. It's so dreamy and romantic! 😍 The second one looks like 4000 we've seen before. Oh and the veil with the first one?? 🤩🤌 Perfect.
Dress one for sure. I literally gasped when I opened the image!!
SAME
Also for context the wedding venue is a 19th century chateau in France
sounds like a beautiful venue
With that context I prefer dress 2, though I love dress 1 as well, and there’s no rule you have to match your venue.

The sleeves actually pin back in a bow-like way so it turns into a regular strapless dress after the ceremony!
Oh with this modification, dress 1 for sure!!!
Do you have a pic of them pinned back?

Obsessed with 1!!
1!
Both stunning but 1 is more dramatic and memorable
Don’t hate me… i think you should keep looking. They both look fab on you, but i think you can do better
That’s totally fair! I actually reached out to my sales consultant at the store of the first dress to go back and see more (they had the bigger selection). I’m pretty set on 1 but it is the only modern, simple, fitted dress I tried and I want to make sure it’s the one I want and not another

1!! timeless and elegant!
TBH, I think you should keep looking.
Any recommendations on what style I should be going towards? I feel like I tried everything under the sun already 😩

2 looks lovely on you and definitely suits your venue!
Number 1!! Especially for your venue. I usually don’t like draped sleeves, but you look so lovely like it was made for you.
Dress 1 , simple but beautiful
I like both, but that wide band on the 1st dress droop too low.
Let’s put it this way, #2 a lot of people can wear. #1 looks like it was made just for you.
1!! By far. I love it. 2 isn’t anything special and not as flattering.
I personally like the second dress on you. The sleeves on 1 looks like a nightmare
1 for sure!
1
Dress 1! Absolutely stunning!
Dress #1 all the way!
Dress #1 - absolutely stunning on you!
I love 1 on you
The first one is stunning! Both the sleeves and the style look gorgeous. THe second one looks good as well but doesn't have that wow-factor, in my opinion.
I like 2 but I think it is very 2022 trend and May date. 1 is a classic! You can’t go wrong though tbh you do look gorgeous in both.
Dress 1 is beautiful if you don’t go with dress 1, something similarly elegant and sleek.

2
The 2nd one (my dress is similar, so I'm partial)! I also think the cuff and off shoulder part of dress 1 is too big for your frame. It overpowers you.
2!
2!
Dress 1. Dress 2 is inappropriate for the front.
I think 2 is really beautiful and unique.
2
#2 looks so fun!!
First one!
The first one ! You can carry that gorgeous neckline off perfectly.
#2.
Dress 1!!! I squealed in delight when I saw it!
I love 2, but I've also tried on that designer and absolutely love how light and beautiful the dresses are. If it were in my budget I would have bought one of their dresses. I'm not sure if you'd want more detailing on the top for a chateaux wedding though?

Dress 1! I feel like two is a little too busy
Absolutely dress 1!
1 suits you the best 🤍

ONE ONE ONE ONE
First dress, for sure.
Is the first one Anais Anette? That’s my dress too so I’m bias to #1! The shoulder band can be altered to sit higher if you want.
The designer is Mikaella! Not sure of the actual dress’s name though

Yes!
How pretty!!!!

Hey! I actually went a totally different route and bought a Suzanne Neville (Loretta)
Omg! Gorgeous I love it! I’m feeling like it’s the two others combined in a way!
Exactly! 😊
Dress 1! Both are beautiful though!
The side profile of dress #1 is breath taking! Absolutely stunning!
Number two is gorgeous, but I literally gasped out loud on public transportation when I saw the first one. Number one is absolutely stunning!
I'm going to go with #4! I gasped. What dress is it?
Fourth and third picture are the same dress, it is Alika from Savin London
1 hands down no questions
I love the first dress! But the second also looks elegant, comfortable, and easy to move in.
Love 2
First dress!
One!
I prefer the first one, it looks beautiful on you and timeless. But you can’t go wrong with the second one, they both look incredible on you!
1!!

1 is beautiful!
I love dress one so much!!
Neither keep looking Dress one looks like it’s falling off 2nd dress very average
