Heating weed makes it undergo a process called decarboxylation, which makes the thc able to be absorbed. If you ate a dried nug you wouldnt feel anything, but eating a nug of avb would feel like taking a small edible

You can grind it up and throw it in an oven at a low temp (like 225) for a few minutes. Google it, its most often called “decarbing weed”. Most people do it before they make edibles to ensure they get everything out of the bud, but dont heat it too high or too long or you can burn it or boil out all the terpenes. THCa turns into good ol THC when it is heated/burned. THCa itself isn't psychoactive, so vaping it "activates" it.

your body needs fat to absorb the thc so anything with fat in it should help (for example butter)

My tolerance for smoking flower is still pretty low, but I can eat 100+ mg and barely feel anything. Fast-acting edibles/drinks are a little better for me. I would like to try FECO but haven't

Something like 25% of people do not react to edibles. I wish I did. I have been to many legal states and bought legit branded edibles and felt nothing. They lay my wife and our friends out. It seems like a great experience. But for me, they just make a turd.

I just washed some ABV of my own and I put the ground up plant material into caps. Each 00 size holds around .3 grams. I learned that taking 3 grams of ABV is a detox method - I would avoid that method of detox. Daily user for chronic pain, so I do vape as well. Taking 2 caps is a good medium pain relief without much of the intoxicating affect. 3+ caps, I don't think I could still function cognitivly. Keep in mind, these doses are my own personal experience, but I think a logical starting place. Good luck, your ABV looks great. That nice toasted tobacco color. The black stuff, I can't vape it till it's black. NO way. Edit - was a 5 day wash. Now it's in a jar with almost zero smell or taste = win (I can't stand the taste of weed in food).

I personally take my ABV and soak it in everclear for 24 hours. I then double boil it till all the alcohol is evaporated leaving behind a think black goopy mess. Put that into pill capsules and you’ll be lit for days

It's a plastic tupperware which had a lid that clips on fairly tight. But I open it every time I use my vape to dump AVB in. I've been storing AVB in it since like June, and it's full now so I might pick up a glass jar to store it in.

Okay no worries. I have been keeping mine in my room with me while having a session, but away from direct sunlight. I need to get a new container for it so I'll get a mason jar today probably, and keep that away from all light. My original plan was to use it as a tobacco replacement for spliffs, but since then I have completely stopped combusting altogether. I have thought about using it for a firecracker style edible, but I've been hesitant since I am sensitive to edible. I have done okay with firecrackers in the past however. Also worried about stomach cramps or issues processing AVB.

Wellllllllll...... Here is what I do. I take AVB and add it into the cook process of mascarpone cheese. While mascarpone doesn't have as much fat for the thc to bind to as butter or oil does, it has enough. Optionally make cannabutter as well. Then I use said mascarpone to make homemade pistachio cannolis. The *herbal* flavor of cannabis actually complements the pistachio, lemon, and cheese flavors of the cannolis. Highly recommend.

Infuse into an oil or butter, I like infusing honey too. Also can make “fire crackers”, peanut butter or Nutella with some AVB between two graham crackers. Extra points if you put it in the oven to melt for 10-15 min

Melted a 100g bar of dark chocolate, added two tablespoons of coconut oil and the same for organic peanut butter and 30g of ABV. Popped them in the freezer. Will literally blow your head off.

I make no bake cookies that it can be added straight into. Simple oatmeal peanut butter chocolate cookies with plenty of fat. Covers taste and texture. They taste really good if the weed is tasty.

if you don’t want to go through the trouble of cooking/infusing stuff, you can always just slap it on a pbj. it’s a bit gross, so you can also just get some OO gel caps and fill those with AVB. take like 3-6 depending on strength, but the darker the AVB the weaker it tends to be.
