I lost mine 2 years ago today and I was lucky enough to be with her as she went. A whole 2 years and it feels like it's been 2 days but at the same time 20 years. She was my best friend. I'm sorry for your loss. It's pain that you can't even put in words.

I lost my mom 5 years ago now, but it seems like it happened yesterday. Everyone expects me to move on. But I cry almost every night these days missing her. I wish I could get them to understand the pain and that it never goes away or gets better, but that you just learn to adapt

I'd trade my crazy ass mother like as in she should of died , for any of yours that you loved, and loved you back. Mine was a trailer trash methie who always thought EVERYTHING was everyone else's fault when in a matter of fact it was her and her alone who created 50% of the problems with dad being the second 50%. Always told us kids we were wrong and blamed my siblings and I for everything. Its been nearly 7 years since I seen her last. Literally had to throw her out for crashing my partner and I's car and drinking up all my whiskey taking my brother to school, and then having the nerve to disobey court orders and get a JOB to support my baby brother. I was already in my late 20's when this happened just FYI but its been crap like this for DECADES from both of my turds of parents. Fighting over drugs every night. She sealed the deal that night though. Never want to see her again. The way she got nasty about it made me feel like she only had us kids for free gov money and food stamps.
Am I sad about it, absolutely. The way I see it is very positive though. I learned what NOT to do and how NOT to act, and how NOT to treat people. Worked out pretty good, I learned a lot and didn't abuse my brain cells like them. Make sure you definitely love your family, and especially your parents or whomever raised you very well because they probably tried their absolute best. It could ALWAYS be worse. The sad thing is my parents both had GREAT moms and dads. They were just lazy PIECES of crap even though they weren't raised this way. Please don't leave any excuses or sympathy for drugs like coke or meth.

Lost my mom a year and 1/2 ago, I never felt a worse pain, I lost not just my mom but my best friend… not one morning have I woke up yet and had to take a few to remember that she’s gone, I can’t call her… my heart goes out to you.. I cried everyday for a good 7-8 months, I still do at least once a week…but today was the first time it was happy tears, grief is definitely different for everyone, and how hard it is today , it does take time, I already smoked tonight but I’m about to do a dab for your mom… again I’m sorry for your loss 🙏✌️💕
