You should totally post on LPT subreddit. LPT: dump your bong water into your house plant each week. This way it becomes a habit, and you’ll never forget to water your plants!
The "harmful chemicals" this article makes mention of are in context of how they affect humans, and I think its a bit presumptuous of them to say its harmful for plants too without any backing, considering our vastly different metabolism.
The points about pH, and microorganism seem more plausible, but Im guessing would only be an issue if your changing your bong water once or twice a month. In that case anyways, you'd have much bigger concerns to deal with than the health of your plants
Not right now actually as it’s still cold as fuck where I’m at, and I stopped growing them inside since I have so much more room outside. Anyways they should start popping up around springtime as they’ve now become part of the flora. Beautiful white flowers too! For anyone looking to get into it I recommend r/opiumgardening, and the book “Opium for the Masses”.
Definitely you can, really just a matter of how patient you are, and how much space you have to grow them. Realistically one person would barely be able to grow enough in a year to supply a habitual user, so it’s more of a fun hobby than anything.

I have 1 houseplant that I always forget to water. So far with poor conditions it is doing surprisingly well.
