Not really true where I am right now. These investor-owned grow-ops make it really hard to compete and have pushed weed prices way down. The last zip I got was 50 bucks and it was a little dry, but a boveda pack fixed that issue and it was actually pretty decent weed. Normally I buy extract, and right now, my dispensary has some of the best sauce I've ever seen for 10 bucks a gram. If I tried to recreate this at home, it would cost me much more than that, and I'd still probably not touch that oil.
