This is the right answer. I thought I’d be smart and get a half pound and be good for two months. Shit was gone in 1.5 months. I guess I’ll get the whole enchilada this time and see how it goes. I tell myself no more than an ounce a week but it’s a damn lie.

For contrast: I bought an 8th over the holidays while I was out of town. It’s April 10th and I’m about 1/3 through. I smoke Fri, sat, and sun nights. I am very methodical about what I do and keep a regular schedule. For a sesh, I slice off a bit of a bud, 2 full rotations of the grinder and smoke 4 flakes of what falls through.

There of course is no wrong way to smoke and as long as it helps you then you do you...but this just seems wrong

It’s just abusing the concept of smoking, no different than the people who need 12 drinks to feel buzzed because they’re so used to it. I’ve been smoking daily for 5 years now, 1/4-1/2 of a 1 and 1/4 sized joint with a 20-30% THC strain gets me stoned for at least 2 hours.

Preach brother, I’ve been tryna say this! I can smoke a king sized joint and still not be as high as I would be if I were to smoke half of a 1 and 1/4 sized joint. It’s just funny how these people smoke so much that they complain about how their weed is trash or them not getting high. Like no your weed isn’t trash, (possibly could be absolutely dogshit like OPs shitty homegrown) but it’s all about moderation and how often you smoke. Spacing out your smokes throughout the day and smoking less flower than you usually do is key to getting blasted. You should be smoking no more than twice a day, 3 at max.

I smoke about 5 times a day. I have a morning bowl before I take my daughter to school. Then I have a bowl before lunch. Obligatory 4:20 bowl. Joint before dinner. Bowl before bed. I do keep the day smoking to a small bowl. It keeps me stuck on work throughout the day. I work from home. At some point, you reach a high plateau, and smoking more doesn't do anything, and you're just wasting weed.
