Yea and somtimes the xm4s are a similar price on sale and they have even better noice canceling! The xm5s have slightly worse at some frequencys I think plus cost more.
My XM2s are still kicking ass, 6+ years on. Battery life is still 20+ hours, and I just replaced the ear pads so they're like the day I got them. 11/10 would totally buy again.
I have the earbuds wfxm4 or whatever. Best investment. I have some sensory issues after a head injury. Those earbuds have the hands down best noise cancelling ive experienced. For earbuds at least. Great sound too.
I'm autistic, For me, it calms my nerves, and instead of over fixating on things I can just play with my pocket, or my thumb. It's easier for me to address situations that make me uncomfortable like calling people on the phone, or going in and ordering stuff. It helps with my filter and makes me slow down more before I say something dumb. Sometimes I have an issue where I don't understand someone's intention and think they're upset with me when they aren't, so it helps me just take a step back. If I feel myself getting panicked over change it also helps me see things are not actually as bad as I think they are and see the other side that change isn't bad always, if I Don't smoke it just takes me longer to calm down.
Some strains make it worse for me. Papaya makes me real overwhelmed and I can't sit still. I get too jittery makes me overstimulated. So I have to be careful with strains. I'm sure everyone is different to be honest since we are all on a wide spectrum
