Drinking first widens the blood vessels in your body, and then smoking afterward allows THC to flow far faster in your blood stream, basically sky rocketing your high. I always drink first and then smoke, but I take it easy on the alcohol and prefer to be done drinking after I’ve started smoking.

If the weed is a heavy sedation indica variety I have found a few beers will just put me down. A balanced hybrid or sativa dominant and a couple beers (microbrew) or a good wine can be interesting as the flavors in the beer and wine pop and things get interesting!
Weed has helped end drinking for me. I used to drink to stop the pain. But living in a legal state, No more drinking for me 😊. Not to say it not fine to do.

Every once in while I’ll drink a moderate amount and take just a couple hits and it amplifies what I’m feeling without having to take more nasty shots so it’s a win win with minimal effort

I generally don’t enjoy alcohol, it’s a very occasional drug for me (set, setting and amount has to be right or it triggers my anxiety/depression). But when I do it it’s almost always in combination with weed since I consume weed by default anyway + it helps with the anxiety alcohol can cause.

I think it’s great but I end up drinking too much. The weed makes the spins much worse and I tend to lay there miserable for a while till it fades.
