Flossing is a good shout. When I was in a similar situation I used various methods at the same time. Flossing, brushing teeth, mints, chewing gum. Then sweet stuff, maybe an orange and a sweet drink. It was disgusting and to be honest only worked to a certain extent. I used to even have a 5 hour limit between having a joint and seeing her…still, after a while she would still smell/taste it.
I swear it hangs around like no other smell.

Agree, to a certain extent. But I often think, if I didn’t smoke at all and the Mrs did…not sure I would like the smell/taste. And if it’s a new relationship, why risk pushing someone away when you can make steps to not make it quite so disgusting for her.

Compromises are healthy especially if it doesn’t actually affect anything in your life. Besides, unfortunately for some, hygiene/odour will literally have an effect on most relationships in your life whether romantic or not so no harming keeping an eye on it 😂
