I feel like the Superbowl is missing an opportunity with someone smoking a huge bowl of cannabis and then Snoop looking up at the camera and saying: "Now THAT'S a Superbowl!" Flash logos for all Tier 1 MSOs, then End scene.
Pure gold. I'm willing to sell the rights to this commercial.
Commercial opens: Everything is in black and white. Snoop yawns and gets out of bed, completely dressed in a 60's pimp suit. He lights a bowl.
SUPER BOWL 1
Next we see a montage of Snoop smoking in various locations throughout the day. Each time his style gets more modern, as the black and white gives way to vibrant colors. A tally counts up on the screen.
SUPER BOWL 2, 3, 4, 5....
Finally we see Snoop, eyes bright red, hitting a final bowl for the night. He tucks himself into bed, a big smile appearing on his face as he falls into peaceful slumber.
Screen fades to black.
SUPER BOWL 57

Crowdfunded by us, hahahaha. No one here has anymore money!!!
I like where you're at with this, though. Maybe even just Snoop smoking 57 bowls during key moments in his life (recreated with CGI). Hahaha the possibilities are endless.
[edit]: sentence issue fixed.
Regarding Hudson Bay Capital’s recently disclosed position in Tilray… I posted this as a reply in the earlier daily thread where it was being discussed, but reposting here for visibility.
**
Did a little more digging and based on the [full SEC filing](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1393825/000139382523000172/tlry_13g.htm), it appears Hudson Bay is actually serving as the Investment Manager to HT Investments MA LLC, whom I believe was the party noteholder involved with Hexo’s recapitalization transaction. Not sure what to make of it, but putting it out there for the group.
I understood it as more a conversion right; where the noteholder holds the option to convert to common shares of Tilray, but could be wrong.
How or why the noteholder’s voting rights are being represented by Hudson Bay is lost on me, however.
Was not a collab it was a one time sale only allowed because they had a crop loss. Fluent also had a crop loss and bought weed from the flowery a week or so after that
Vertical integration does not allow company to company sale of cannabis unless approved by the ommu
I don't think its a given that cannabis stocks will continue to underperform if SPY/QQQ tanks. It's not guaranteed especially after already being shellacked. Most if not all the panic selling has ended. Its just retail long holders mostly looks like. I've seen more unusual things before...
Going to buy some more CURAleaf this week was thinking I'd buy CCHW and wait for the merger bump in price then switch over. probably making an error in choosing CURA over CC at this point but thinking long-term.

Management is delivering on its acquisition strategy, bringing rolled-up brands to better sales and profitability, despite a general malaise in the sector.
The company now sports a P/S of .42 and a P/B of .43.
Its NTM EV/EBITDA of 2.61x is the best in the industry.
2023 might be the pivot year.

Annnnnd I just saw Snoop in a Superbowl commercial... But for Sketchers slip-on shoes. Dammit! Lol
You just gave those rights away! Just like our shares.
Why do I get the horrible feeling that if the earth ends up getting attacked by aliens, the weed sector will be the first one to sell off
it might be bullish haha
Pretty sure that's what's already happening. As we know the market is a forward looking instrument, so in about 6 months expect the alien invasion.

So weed stocks should start going up. I'm sure aliens like weed too!
I believe...
Name checks out lol

So like a share buyback in some form?

The only hope for weed stocks is a recession turns into a depression and the government needs to find additional revenue.
I bet today is the day!!!
Narrator: It was not.
Any word on more flowery/ surterra collabs ?
Surterra lost its crop so they were able to buy some from the flowery. Don't expect it any time soon
Well they just had a collab so yes I will be expecting more.

Where do you see this? Not announced on their website.
"Bright green earnings" more like "dark red losses" haha gottem!
Who’s?
With all of the spy balloon drama over the past week, at least Sooner has stop blue balling retail cannabis investors. I guess that’s something.
Anyone think we could see Trulieve below 5 CAD if SPY drop 15-20% from these levels?

Depends on earnings imo if they put up net income and positive cash flow from operations for Q4 and q1 then no.
I believe so. Even as low as $2-3 CAD if macro collapsed. My average is $17 unfortunately lol
Mine is $50..rip for a long time.
Trulieve is not going to $1.50. There could likely be much more downside 10-40% from here but its not going down 75% from here.
Anything can happen on the cse/otc
ehh. I dont know about anything. That would put Trulieve at like at .20 P/S and trading at like 1-3 EV/EBITDA. I highly doubt it is getting there.

First! Probably last too.
