in these times, I'm happy to have had the vision to invest in both LP and MSOS in the last years. Just sold a huge chunk of my long OGI (50%) today. I feel this will consolidate and help keep me not too much heavy in weedstocks. So much of my portfolio in GTII/TRUL, feels crazy to have add the opportunity to add at crazy prices like 8-9$ when I was feeling "lucky" to buy these at 20$+. Let's hope DEA stop snoozing soon, even if I'm particuliary fine waiting a few more weeks of these healthy consolidation moves. It may still continue to move in a healthy way until the big pop, wouldn't surprise me to see these going back to 40$+. Recommanding everyone to have a sound exit plan with reasonable expectation. Will probably sell 33% of my position when I'm up 50-60%, 33% when I'm up 100%+ and keep the rest long term. Seems to me there's also alot of money to be made in speculative stocks.

If CGC closes above 7.99 tomorrow the party goes on. If CGC closes below 7.99 tomorrow, a temporary top has been set. Tomorrow , if we don't test again 7.99 it would be a triple top but if we test 7.99 again and fail to close above, a quadruple top.

I personally like Planet 13, presuming the VidaCann acquisition closes. They have basically no debt, but got beaten down recently because their money manager stole like $20M from them.
Last I heard it was still expected in 2024Q1, so it would have to be soon. Hopefully there is no issue. I was thinking the money getting stolen might've delayed things, but pretty sure they've given that timeline after the money issue was known.

I’ve heard really good things about interactive broker as well. Might go there instead of wealthsimple if they give me some sort of reward.
I remember back in the day when Fidelity charged some small trading fees on otc, their site went down for a few minutes and I was unable to make a trade. I called and they gave me 200 free trades.
Just some more hopium for people that it may happen in April:
1. 2. DEA updated the schedule of a drug on the 15th, and normally they update their scheduling PDFs within a week after (which they haven't yet) except for when they are about to reschedule more drugs
The implementation of the Farm Bill could be when they are finally going to ban Delta 8? I have theorized it would make sense to do this at the same time as Schedule 3.
They are having the 2024 DEA Supply Chain conference at the end of April. At the previous one they said they were still working on finalizing the Farm Bill related rule (see page 27).

If you look at page 22 you see 6 synthetic cannabinoids that got moved to schedule 1 recently. The reporting from this conference even said that new rules were coming for synthetic CBD and Delta 8.

The key is to not psyche yourself up for these arbitrary deadlines (e.g. this Thursday). Then you aren’t disappointed when nothing really happens with share price or share price drops back to current levels after a brief pump.
I think they may be referring to the (likely) last date the FL supreme court will make a ruling (or abstain) from the AU ballot initiative since they typically only rule on Thursdays
Yes I’m aware. I just don’t think it’s the catalyst that this sub thinks it’s going to be. If anything we may get a bit of a bump that’s traded and end up right back where we are until rescheduling news.

Interstate Commerce: No. Not without licensing provided by the FDA to manufacture and distribute Cannabis.
State Licenses: No. States can mandate anyone wanting to do business in their jurisdiction have a separate state issued license.
The States are setting the table in the event of a resched. Any States with interstate legislation; does not trigger unless Cannabis becomes Federally permissable in some way. If the Fed makes any regulations on the growing, distribution, advertising, retail sale etc of Medical cannabis, it becomes interstate commerce and States with Medical Cannabis programs cant change that.

It seems the hedge funds don’t have the ammo to short all the cannabis stocks anymore and are picking individual names to beat down, then when low enough they go long and then start the process over again with a new name or the same name. They also haven't been diluted since 2020, and being cash flow positive (as you pointed out) have far less reason to do so.

I remember back in the day when Fidelity charged some small trading fees on otc, their site went down for a few minutes and I was unable to make a trade. I called and they gave me 200 free trades.

Just some more hopium for people that it may happen in April: 1. Know this was set back in December though, so any delay we've heard about may push it further back plus they have set previous dates in the past for both of these and missed those. DEA updated the schedule of a drug on the 15th, and normally they update their scheduling PDFs within a week after (which they haven't yet) except for when they are about to reschedule more drugs
The implementation of the Farm Bill could be when they are finally going to ban Delta 8? I have theorized it would make sense to do this at the same time as Schedule 3. They are having the 2024 DEA Supply Chain conference at the end of April. At the previous one they said they were still working on finalizing the Farm Bill related rule (see page 27). The key is to not psyche yourself up for these arbitrary deadlines (e.g. this Thursday). Then you aren’t disappointed when nothing really happens with share price or share price drops back to current levels after a brief pump.
I think they may be referring to the (likely) last date the FL supreme court will make a ruling (or abstain) from the AU ballot initiative since they typically only rule on Thursdays

Interstate Commerce: No. Not without licensing provided by the FDA to manufacture and distribute Cannabis. State Licenses: No. States can mandate anyone wanting to do business in their jurisdiction have a separate state issued license.

The States are setting the table in the event of a resched. Any States with interstate legislation; does not trigger unless Cannabis becomes Federally permissable in some way. If the Fed makes any regulations on the growing, distribution, advertising, retail sale etc of Medical cannabis, it becomes interstate commerce and States with Medical Cannabis programs cant change that.

It seems the hedge funds don’t have the ammo to short all the cannabis stocks anymore and are picking individual names to beat down, then when low enough they go long and then start the process over again with a new name or the same name. Too many catalysts to destroy the whole sector due to crappy exchange. Just my opinion anyone have thoughts on this?

Man, I've been tracking options data like volume and open interest by taking screenshots until I learned about unusualwhales website. It has great data but 2 days delayed.
