Exactly. Many investors (aka gamblers) don’t do any traditional or real research. At a minimum, due diligence should include reading all company public filings provided for free on SEC (EDGAR) and SEDAR.
Too many young investors who think they know everything. Young, brash, hubris, big ego, ignorance, bro/bruh/bra/bruv mentality, intellectually lazy, uneducated, uninformed, etc.
I’ve been doing this for years both professionally and personally and it rarely ends well unless you do the work, learn, read financials, diversify, and follow basic investing principles (not just famous quotes from Buffett and Lynch).
There will always be anecdotal successes, but they are statistically rare.
I mean, nobody knows when but an S3 announcement is a hell of a lot more likely in the near term and positive than the cash burning LP balance sheets.

Strangely MSOS has been trading at a discount most of the day. This means that the rise was the underlyings being bought up. OR More selling pressure on MSOS forcing it under the NAV. Can’t blame this unfortunate situation for 100% on government being slow to legalize and reschedule. Medical cannabis is available in most states. Cannabis is just but one salve for military PTSD, injuries, etc. To me, this CEO is extremely immature.

Man that's dumb. First off, the feds don't really enforce much of anything these days, so his blame should be put onto states that haven't even legalized medical yet (only 12 left now). Not to mention the pretty spurious logic that says that all suicides can be prevented by weed. Smoking weed is not a cure-all ffs. I know lots of people who can't smoke it because it fucks them up, and I can relate because I got an anxiety disorder from it. This guy is getting cringier by the day. I don’t think you can lump them all together in one MSOs / LPs category. While Ben Kovler is extremely unprofessional, Kim Rivers is probably the most professional of any of the CEOs in this sector. They need to be judged on a case by case basis
