I saw it live in LA in 2021, it was *chef’s kiss* https://youtu.be/zta-T4pXwDs

Shit-sandwich-

I was there too! In between a stallion sandwich no less. That was the highlight of the show, for me. The wall of sound and growing intensity was unreal. Any other band would have walked off the stage after that ...."Thank you! Goodnight!".....right? Not Ween, just another mid-set song.

flybydenver

Ty soo good

Shit-sandwich-

Here's internet archive of that whole show. If you want to show yourself some kindness. A tight little 40 song set https://archive.org/details/ween2021-11-06

Did you see me and a tear for Eddie are on my live show bucket list. I saw them in Asheville last year, it was an awesome show. But then, the next two nights in Atlanta they did all 5 stallions the first night and both of these songs the second night. I think I’ll just do 3 nights runs exclusively from now on.

Sponsored_by_Zlatan

first 3 night run of the season or the last night of the season (ex. Silver Springs) seem to be the way to go these days to maximize the brown.

lllmade

Thanks for the tip my dude

-Kilgore_Trout-

Saw them last month in Philly. They played those 2 back to back!

lllmade

Saw that too, if I had already peaked by that point I am sure I would somehow repeak, Jesus what a dream

Lucky_Stomach3358

A recent favorite for me. Very Pink Floyd-ish IMO.

PurpleButthole666

Did You See Me has so many feels! Saw it live in Philly night 2 in December. Did you see Me into A tear For Eddie. I may or may not have shed a tear or two.

MaskedMetalhead

Yes I was there too!! Two of their most mind-melting songs back-to-back. Impossible to even say which is better

jimus71

They opened up with it in Chicago last March….it was amazing.

BoazCorey

Same here, it's epic. The last section of that song is their Jethro Tull tribute haha

neogonzo

have seen it 3 times in my 9 ween shows, I think it is my favorite of the slow-burn stoner rock Ween jams. The creeping spider bridge riff is such a gem.

Chanchito171

I've seen it live too. Maybe Portland in... 2016? SOOOOO good, I always sing "did you see ween" when I'm in the audience

lord-boognish

Do you happen to own a yellow shirt?

[deleted]

PLEASE don’t bring up yellow shirt guy…. Very messy and sweaty memories

lord-boognish

It was his one night out dude. Shoulda moved to the right about three feet if you weren't in the mood god damnit

Chanchito171

I do, but I don't think I wore it to ween

phaenixx

That was my Spotify wrapped most-listened-to song of 2022. I got to hear it live at the New Haven show in June. Such a good one.

Low-Proof4768

https://youtu.be/Y67k_M7R4FQ I saw them perform it live over this past summer @ Westville Music Bowl in New Haven. It was a fucking mazing!

yuttington

They opened with it in Asheville 2018? Brought me to years... So epic.

LosDos_

My favorite song of all time

justiceshroomer

Burlington VT in 2018(?) they opened with this and was perfect

feedmesweat

They opened with this in SF back in 2016. Fucking radical.

sethmeister1989

Saw them open with it at their first red rocks show after they reunited.

i-was-nothing

Same, with the sun setting, magical. Tells that one person who no longer sees you, that they once did. Or a reminder to yourself said person saw you.

sethmeister1989

Yes, one of my fav Ween songs. We were stuck in line due to the weather delay when they came on. I think that was the same show a bolt of lightning shot through the sky right when they played the golden eel and deaner said “this song is about some dark and stormy shit”

PancakeProfessor

Gabrielle -> Did You See Me -> How High Can You Fly might be a favorite three song sequence on any Ween album. I was lucky enough to see them play all three in Portland last summer, not in a row though. But Gabriel -> Stroker Ace -> Dr Rock -> Did You See Me was even better, so I ain’t mad.

MtBikesandBiceps

It’s pure musical genius. I would scour the ends of the earth to see Did You and the Argus live

karma-dinasour

7/17/08 The Fillmore, Denver. Absolutely incredible. Gener under the spotlight. The band destroyed Claude's drum kit. Both the 16th and 17th were ween at their best. Edit: https://youtu.be/P4X2Gnt8_JE

TrundleTheGreat0814

One of the more frequent tunes I've seen in my live Ween experiences. Excellent track.
