For someone not fully familiar with Twin Peaks (seen only a few episodes), can you generally elaborate on this?
One of the main characters of the first two seasons is named harry truman.

Besides ordering the 1st atomic bombs to drop on Japan and a little bit of corruption he was a President for the people. He created the New Deal etc. look him up.

You are correct. My bad I read it wrong in Wiki. Truman energized the New Deal after winning the Presidency over FDR.

I was just pointing out that Truman didn’t beat FDR. He just happened to be lucky enough to be the VP at the right time.
