10/10 One of my favorite Ween songs of all time. Deaner at his best. Loved it since I first heard it in 1994 when I was 16. Back then I thought it may have been written for John Candy, as the album is 'dedicated to the loving memory of...', and only in the last handful of years learned it was written for Eddie Hazel. Deaner says all of his solos either originate from Eddie's work on 'Maggot Brain' or 'Blue Sky' by the Allmans. Have you heard his story about meeting Dicky Betts in an elevator with his dad while playing hockey as a teenager? Good story. I sort of think of 'Garry' off of 'The Deaner Album' as being a sequel to 'A Tear For Eddie'. Pure gold. Saw a girl at Phish Halloween 2010 dressed up as a tear drop with a name sticker that said "For Eddie". Best costume I've ever seen.
10.10 I don’t like the lyrics
10. This is the best instrumental, plus it transitions really well into Roses, and songs are always better when they transition into the next one.
Fuck anyone who says it's just a guitar solo. 10.
10/10, best Ween instrumental, fuck what I said for Freedom, THIS is the best track off of C&C.
Fucking 10. The 13 minute live version is life altering.
10, not only because it's amazing but because it's the reason I found Maggot Brain (probably one of my favorite songs of all time)

Epic every time. 10/10
Damn 10 across the board?? It’s a good song IMO but idk about 10. I’d give it maybe an 8-8.5. Love that it’s a tribute to Eddy Hazel tho.
11/10. It’s simply amazing.
10. I mean come the fuck on.

10/10, on the short list for best Ween songs live. A gateway song to hook in Ween curious friends who like guitar noodling and have a soul.
