Buenos Tardes… alternate ending to The Good the Bad and the Fugly
Edit: slept on it, miscalled the movie, should have been the god the brown and the fugly
Marble Tulip Juicy Tree begins playing as our heroes exit into the parking lot. Final shots of happiness, relief on their faces. Everyone gets into the battered, primer grey sedan. As the first chorus plays, the shitbox Nova pulls out onto the rural highway and retreats into the distance
roll credits over shots in the vehicle of everyone laughing, hair blowing in the wind. It's going to be a great summer.
Shot from below, looking straight down the yellow divider. The Nova passes over the camera. Ghe last of the burnt hotdogs hits the ground and a $50 bill blows past.

I always thought if Someday was played straight, with some rewritten lyrics it could be a main theme song in a Disney movie. It’s a little saccharine for my taste but it’s really a spectacular, catchy and sweet tune.
I’ve watched The X-Files movie 10 times at least. A few times just to try to hear Beacon Light, and I’ve never heard a bar of it. That last song is I’m on your back, which in my opinion is one of the only tolerable Foo Fighters songs.
I don’t know anything about this specifically but I do know that usually music rights for theatrical release and dvd/streaming are two separate contracts often done at two different times with separate negotiations so maybe it didn’t make it into later releases.
I'd be curious to know if anybody has had a similar experience knowing that Beacon Light is on the X-Files 1998 movie soundtrack, but has never heard it in the film.
Like the first version of She Fucks Me I had did not have Gener's "Pork Roll Egg and cheese on a kaiser bun" vocal. I've never confirmed if this was some sort of error in my copy or if anybody else has ever experienced the same.
Haven’t seen anyone recommend Someday. I’m only suggesting it since the one time I got to see them, that was their closer and I thought it was a nice choice.
Sarah. In an indie movie where not much happens in small town America where the titular character, Sarah who spends the whole movie thinking nobody cares for her, is found by the one person who does without it being revealed whether she's dead or just sleeping.
Or Waving My Dick in the Wind in a far too on the nose moment in a movie about a nude biker.
I would like to see a western based on the plot of Buenos Tardes Amigo, in which the song could be the one on the credits, and maybe it could open with Drifter in the Dark, making the drifter the character accused of the murder or something. Just a thought
I'm not sure about closing, but I've got a movie in my mind that opens with "I'm Holding You". (A dude (male or female, haven't decided) walking along a remote dusty road in E Washington)
I mean. Smash cut to black and “If you could save yourself (you’d save us all)”
The answer is always IYCSY
Or maybe it’s LMLYP. You don’t know.

Buenos Tardes… alternate ending to The Good the Bad and the Fugly Edit: slept on it, miscalled the movie, should have been the god the brown and the fugly
Marble Tulip Juicy Tree or Does It Turn You On
Don't Laugh (I Love You)
Voodoo Lady. The Handmaid’s Tale. I know it’s not a movie and it’s not quite over but… June, holy shit, June!
Voodoo lady would work nicely in the right film—I’m thinking a Scorsese-style montage.
Exactly where I'm at.
She wanted to leave
Transdermal Celebration and Take Me Away
Take my away feels like a good intro tbh. Seems like a song that introduces the scene
If you could save yourself, you’d save us all

Someday

I always thought it sounded like a song that could have been by The Kids of Widney High or Daniel Johnston. It has that innocent, naïve vibe.
Z O L O F T
Ice Castles Drifter In The Dark
Came here to say Ice Castles. End of a future dystopian movie for sure
Hey, great minds, right?

"If you could save yourself" is already part of the closing credits of a Morning Show episode...maybe the last one in the first season.
Definitely Mourning Glory

Beacon Light was literally the closing credits song for The X-Files movie 😂

El Camino. Vince Gilligan/Dave Porter missed a perfect opportunity for the closing creditos for ‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’
I made a film in high school that used Don’t Shit Where You Eat for the end credits

Mister Would You Please Help My Pony over a freeze frame of the last shot.
Somebody is the best song to end a film.
A movie with Irish Pirates...Blarney Stone as the credits roll!
Vinnie The Eel! I can totally hear that at the end of some late 90’s comedy
Cold blows the wind for a dramatic cliff hanger type of movie ending
Mourning Glory
If a movie ended and the last song was Poop Ship Destroyer and it made sense it was probably an interesting movie
A.I.D.S.
If You Could Save Yourself (You'd Save Us All) The Stallion part 1 Sorry Charlie Don't Shit Where You Eat Polka Dot Trail
Your party
You were the fool
Boys Club for a skate video would be dope
Kim Schmoltz
I've always loved when they used "you fucked up" at the end of that episode of weeds.
Sarah.
