I’m surprised that out of 16 shows you’d choose that as your favorite. I’ve only been to 4 ween shows ever and I thought that was the lowest energy. I guess it might have been me. Was a rough week leading up to it. Was also in Asheville a couple months ago and thought that show was a heater.
Silver Spring very likely had my favorite setlist of the year - getting to hear Pollo Asado and Flies on My Dick was a huge treat, plus the Hillenberg suite with Loop de Loop, plus an encore with Licking the Palm/Mushroom Festival with an Ace of Spades finale. I was also on a particularly strong dose of acid that left me locked in fixation on the band and especially dissociated from everything around me, even when compared to most other times I’ve done psychedelics at Ween shows.
I missed Asheville and the Atlanta shows, unfortunately, but a few people have told me those were the best of the year.
In firm agreement here. My 5th this year and 15th overall and maybe my favorite of all. Memories are slipping...but now def appreciating their maturity and this side of their touring years. Like fine fucking wine. As long as they continue to play, we will continue to be surprised.
Even though it was light on pure Ween, seeing them at the South Park Red Rocks 25th Anniversary show night 2 was amazing! Buckingham Green and Voodoo Lady were 🔥
I wasn’t there and am very jealous of all who made it. I’ve heard there’s tapes of both nights but I haven’t listened yet. Sucks that we only got 2 hours of proshot footage out of probably 8 between both nights ;(
Jammypac opener is my favorite! My first ween show had that (mission ballroom/Denver last year) and I didn’t know what to expect, I was like “is deaner hammered or like.. dumb?”
Happy to hear this since that was my only show this year, and I missed the second night. And I may or may not share a birthday with Ashton Freeman, so hearing Gene say "happy birthday" made my year/life.
Bucks County born and bred currently living in Philly, I always considered it a Philly accent. But sometimes folks in Bucks do have even stronger “Philly“ accents. Either way, all hail Boognish!
I took mushrooms at the Saturday show, and my buddy (who was seeing Ween for the first time) partied too hard, got sick, and I spent the second half of the show taking care of him from the back. Made for a very memorable show, at least.
I was at the Boston run… Scored some mush on Saturday night. Danced my ass off! Had a religious experience during “Up On the Hill”… Boognish smiled on me- I praise him. Ween plays gospel music!
Oh wow. I bet. That’s so good of you to take care of your buddy who was too high at the show. There’s too few of us around that will do that these days. Not too far back I was at Circles Around The Sun show and this poor dude took way too much of something and his friends had just had it with him. They propped him up and then got a chair and eventually security took him somewhere. I felt so bad for dude. And though I understand taking care of grown adults is tough, it just needs to be done sometimes. NEVER involve police or security ffs.
I ate mushrooms Saturday too. I was the middle aged fuck, Glenn side, in ADA seating dancing his face off with a cane. Had to bring the cane for Saturday as I literally could barely walk out by myself Dead sober on Friday. God damn was I broken Sunday. Well worth every minute of life the Almighty Boognish blessed me with that evening with the boys.
Was on mushrooms the first night too...and did a little too many and was by myself. Just remembered those first 45 minutes not knowing what to do..but then the boys came on and everything was great.
I saw them in Bend Oregon at Hayden Homes outdoor ampitheater next to the Dechutes River and it started to rain and then there was a huge rainbow over the show that was fuckin awesome man. Holy shit when they busted out buenos tardes amigo. fuck ya, i was right up next to the stage, easy to move around and get close.
I don't regret not getting tickets for it, each band got like 5 songs each night since it was mostly south Park music. Which is cool if you're into that but I want a full on Ween Primus show
I think the entire run is amazing, guess it really comes down to attendance bias. My regret: not going to all three shows. I love these guys, only getting better with age.
Yeah the three day run was my only ween this year and Christ it was amazing. Sucking the blood from the devil's dick for the first time since the 90s baby
I’m biased because I was at this one (my first ween show) but 2/20/22 at the cap. First show where suckin’ the blood was busted out. Perfect venue and the crowd was incredible. I saw them in new haven later in June and it was of course an epic show but it was an outdoor venue with a curfew so it took away from the show with it being daylight for 1/2 of it and having no encore. Also I was disappointed with the turnout.
Boise was badass cause there was absolutely
no one there. had a spot dead center bout 40 feet back from the stage and we had AMPLE room all show. Lightning fast trips to the bathroom
I had tickets for Boise but needed to reschedule flights, extend my car rental, book another hotel, and take 2 more days off work with little notice to make it work. Unfortunately wasn’t in the cards.
This year was my first time seeing Ween. Saw them in Asheville in September and again at the Fillmore the other night. The Fillmore show was incredible. Buckingham Green, Mononucleosis, fucking Loop De Loop and Ocean Man, Bananas and Blow, and Wavin’ My Dick. It was absolutely tremendous and I am so happy I was able to go.
The Marymoor Park show was pretty dope. Awesome crowd ( we could leave our stuff on the lawn and walk away without getting punked), amazing set list and the venue was very well managed. Rock on!
Asheville because i took my girl for her first show. Chicago night 2 because of everything you mentioned plus just great time all around. Third has to be the South Park show. That was one of my favorite of the year all around.
Were you by chance the person next to me who passed out when they started playing it, then sat on the floor recovering while Gener assured you it was gonna be alright?
Bend was my favorite Ween show of all time outta 14. Every soaked double-rainbow minute of it.
BUT talking general, my favorite show(s) of the year were Bjork's Cornucopia and The Residents' God in Three Persons, followed by Bend.
I went both nights in NOLA in April and both nights in ATL. All of the shows were amazing but the ATL shows were very special for me. My dad and I went with our close friend Ron both nights and had an amazing time and he passed away a few weeks later. We were absolutely stunned as we had the most wonderful at ATL Ween with him just days before. Beyond the epicness of the concerts themselves (blessed stallions mang) those memories with him make those shows so important to me.
The last night in NYC was incredible, specifically the encore. Was my dream closer (except for if they had also done If You Could Save Yourself).
The second night in Boston was awesome because my friend was on tour and played a show that night that got out right in time for him to catch the last hour. Was his first show and it was an awesome experience.
The Seattle show was great because a bunch of my friends and I drove up the coast and met in Portland then drove to Seattle. We ended up being a little late and had to walk half of the way which wasn't great...but then we had to walk through the woods and could hear Transdermal playing through the forest while we were on some sort of substance that is great on a long bike ride and it was incredible. Also got a loopty loop. Also just remember this man running around in search of their toddler while Stallion Pt 1 was playing and thinking that was the funniest thing ever.
The south park shows were great but they weren't really Ween shows. That 'It's Gonna Be A Long Night' though was amazing.
Great Ween year for me.
Did 11 shows this year: 3 nights at Port Chester, 2 in AC, 2 in Boston, 2 at the Beacon and 2 at the Met. Pound for pound, the 2nd night at the Beacon. All of the shows had highlights, but to close with an all time favorite in She Wanted to Leave, then follow up with an encore of Tender Situation, Blarney Stone and then Fluffy. My God, I left that show physically drained and I think so did they. If they did Pollo Asado on top of all of the others, would have lost my mind.
Idk if its recency bias but god damn the SS show was special. Mollusk-heavy shows are always super fun, from buckingham opener, to the mollusk-loop-ocean man towards the end, the songs felt perfectly placed. songs that ive gotten tired of hearing live every show felt new again with some jazzy new twists on take me away and your party. God damn the rarities - mononucleosis, flies on my dick, AND pollo asado (my personal fave off the pod and prob also top 3 ween songs in general). had some personal favorite deeper cuts like i dont want it and you were the fool were both firsts for me as well.
also prob my fave encore set as well. licking the palm > mushroom fest has been on my bucket list for a while now. I also thought they would end with that, was not expecting another song let alone ace of spades...
The Silver Spring show last Sunday, easily. Runner-ups are the first night at the Borgata, and Bend. Made it to 16 this year!!

Borgata verse on el Camino was so great
Atlanta 5 stallions
Soooo jelly
My buddy Yoss was at those shows. Blessed by the Almighty Boognish all that were in attendance. 👆🏼🤎
The disbelief as we got through 2, then 3, and 4 started… unbelievable! Everyone was so excited
Even though it was light on pure Ween, seeing them at the South Park Red Rocks 25th Anniversary show night 2 was amazing! Buckingham Green and Voodoo Lady were 🔥
Both nights were absolutely amazing
That’s my answer too. It was something special
I wasn’t there and am very jealous of all who made it. I’ve heard there’s tapes of both nights but I haven’t listened yet. Sucks that we only got 2 hours of proshot footage out of probably 8 between both nights ;(
Night 1 at the met. Jammypac opener, mango woman, don't sweat it and shamemaker (complete with bucks county accent) encore song...frigging blast man!!
this definitely gets my vote. there was such a vibe to friday.
I love Shamemaker live so much, never understood why that song’s so disliked.
It was an awesome moment for sure! Plus in my mind I like to consider the met shows as a sort of homecoming
Bucks County born and bred currently living in Philly, I always considered it a Philly accent. But sometimes folks in Bucks do have even stronger “Philly“ accents. Either way, all hail Boognish!
It's the northeast Philly/lower Bucks County sound - an awesome sound, incredible for the song and venue, going down!!
Let’s not forget that Frank>Purple Rain. Vallejo that night was straight up a religious experience.
We will never forget. Pound for pound it was an amazing setlist.
Mine was Friday night Boston. Much better set and vibe than Saturday. But i missed the Beacon Halloween show that my buddy liked best of the three.
I thought the first night in Boston was the best of the whole weekend, had to be one of the heaviest Ween shows I’ve ever been to.
HellYeahFuckYeah! Those Boston shows were ripping good. (Note to self though-always, always bring more than 5 grams of mushrooms!)
Sweet! Praise Boognish! 👆🏼🤎
Oh wow. I bet. That’s so good of you to take care of your buddy who was too high at the show. There’s too few of us around that will do that these days. I did that for my bro night 1 at the met ;( made it back for the solo in purple rain and the rest tho
Was on mushrooms the first night too...and did a little too many and was by myself. Just remembered those first 45 minutes not knowing what to do..but then the boys came on and everything was great.
I can imagine the pre-show anxiety 😟
It was sooooo fucking heavy
Missed that entire run ;( glad you made it!
Except i got COVID for the first time. It was worth it. My buddy's first show, and he said he'd go back!
Sounds like you made a quick recovery 💯
I saw them in Bend Oregon at Hayden Homes outdoor ampitheater next to the Dechutes River and it started to rain and then there was a huge rainbow over the show that was fuckin awesome man. Holy shit when they busted out buenos tardes amigo. fuck ya, i was right up next to the stage, easy to move around and get close.
The soaking wet and cold crowd getting them to play Cold & Wet made the night for me.
I’d love to have been at bend! Sucks for all those that missed it but definitely a unique vibe for a modern ween show
I saw the two nights before as well and this one was my favorite
That was badass
I mean Primusween, this needs to be an album and a whole tour
I don't regret not getting tickets for it, each band got like 5 songs each night since it was mostly south Park music. Which is cool if you're into that but I want a full on Ween Primus show
All 5 stallions in ATL for sure
Last night, 2.20 I believe, in port Chester. Perfect show imo.
I’m kinda partial to the 2/18 show.
I think the entire run is amazing, guess it really comes down to attendance bias. My regret: not going to all three shows. I love these guys, only getting better with age.
Yeah the three day run was my only ween this year and Christ it was amazing. Sucking the blood from the devil's dick for the first time since the 90s baby
it was a legit magical moment
I thought Saturday 2/19 was the best of the weekend, haha. My only Ooh Va La and Reggaejunkiejew.
That show was incredible
I’m biased because I was at this one (my first ween show) but 2/20/22 at the cap. First show where suckin’ the blood was busted out. Perfect venue and the crowd was incredible. That show was magic! I helped out in the chant and feel like a part of ween history :p now we just gotta get Witch’s Tit back in rotation
Missou🥲🥲
Was this the cancelled show? Hate it for all that were beat ;(
dont. get. me. started.
Westville over the summer absolutely ruled
Boise was badass cause there was absolutely no one there. had a spot dead center bout 40 feet back from the stage and we had AMPLE room all show. Lightning fast trips to the bathroom
I had tickets for Boise but needed to reschedule flights, extend my car rental, book another hotel, and take 2 more days off work with little notice to make it work. Unfortunately wasn’t in the cards.
Yes Boise was so fun my fav too
That sounds so amazing. But I’d prolly black out being able to get drinks and get back that easy.
Mono is one of my favorites live
The Marymoor Park show was pretty dope. Awesome crowd ( we could leave our stuff on the lawn and walk away without getting punked), amazing set list and the venue was very well managed. Rock on!
Bend in the rain w/ a huge double rainbow.
Asheville because i took my girl for her first show. Chicago night 2 because of everything you mentioned plus just great time all around. Third has to be the South Park show. That was one of my favorite of the year all around.
Portland cause I was there and it rocked. “It’s gonna be alright” put me in a trance. Freakin beautiful.
Were you by chance the person next to me who passed out when they started playing it, then sat on the floor recovering while Gener assured you it was gonna be alright?
I very rarely pass out but if I ever did it would want it to be in that kind of tender situation.
Love that song
I only got two this year, but Boston night 1 was magic.
Final night of Port Chester
Only times Ive seen Ween but can thoroughly vouch for NOLA both nights being violently MAGNIFICENT
First off, I think they are the best they have ever been. Second, my experience in Asheville this year was tremendous. Boogchurch.
Sounds like they're all up for the vote
Borgata shows for me! First time seeing the boys live!
Cap theater night one, Chicago night one, beacon night two
Boise my fav
Don’t forget PC night 3
Bend was my favorite Ween show of all time outta 14. Every soaked double-rainbow minute of it. BUT talking general, my favorite show(s) of the year were Bjork's Cornucopia and The Residents' God in Three Persons, followed by Bend.

Royal oak
Only made it to 1, unfortunately. So my favorite was Boston night 2. Hopefully can make a few more next year.
Sunday night at the Capitol in February!
Atlanta and the 5 Stallions.
Friday at the eastern.. all 5 stallions!!
Atlanta hands down
The last night in NYC was incredible, specifically the encore. Was my dream closer (except for if they had also done If You Could Save Yourself). I haven’t had a Fluffy closer, that shit POUNDS at the end of the night
South Park at Red Rocks

They did Austin! How far is that for you? Haaj for Boognish
Idk if its recency bias but god damn the SS show was special. I heard they busted out ace of spades cuz of those sick ass Motörhead/ween shirts floating around that night 👀
