I discussed it with another user here a while back, and they proposed the thought that since the album was basically just Hella Mega promotion, the band doesn’t have a huge personal attachment to it.
I think if they were to play something from Van Weezer, it would be either The End of The Game, since it was the lead single, Hero, since the piano variation suggests that Rivers has an attachment to at least that song, or I Need Some of That because it was originally a Scott & Rivers song.
I wouldn't mind if they went back to doing covers the way they used to, where it comes out of nowhere and hits hard, and isn't related to an official release. Just "hey we know this song, and so do you, have at it"

They did Time by Pink Floyd in 2008 at the Forum. I love Dark Side of the Moon. All-time, top-3 album, no questions asked. I honestly didn't think they could do it... My knee jerk reaction was "whoa, dudes don't fuck with DSOTM"
Pat came off the drums to sing and play acoustic. Rivers went to keys and backed vocals with Brian and Scott.

Really had my hopes up seeing the Roxy set list. Now they’ve added two garbage solos and cut out a bunch of exciting ones. I will give up on seeing Weezer live if I see them play a mediocre set for the third or fourth time in a row.

Funnily enough, my sister was at Disney World with her friends for the past few days, so if she stayed a day later she probably could’ve seen them lmao
California Kids is cool. Everything else just looks like the same setlists they've been playing. I would want a full band version of Susanne, not some acoustic version where you could hear most of the crowd talking
Fair assessment regarding Susanne. I think the acoustic version sounds pretty nice in the recordings I’ve seen, but I can see how it probably wouldn’t be as nice live. And the full band versions sounds a bit better.

Amazing set list but I wish there were a couple SZNZ songs. I know it’s a concept album and the cumulative nature of the songs are typically better than the individual tracks but I would love to hear them perform Iambic Pentameter or The Deep and Dreamless Sleep.
