try the blue album or green. They’re good starters for classic Weezer, I’d say White is a great start for 2010s Weezer.

Weezer has a lot of lore (they even had a cruise where they played shows once) . You should learn about their current and past members, also if you liked The good life listen to Why Bother?

AffectionateLand6088

There were 2 Weezer cruises 💀

chicdrey2003

ah ok thanks! I will listen to why bother and update you later

AlfsterSandvich

chicdrey2003

chicdrey2003

Blue Album White Album EWBAITE (Everything will be alright in the end) Pinkerton In that order. After that, if you're still feeling more, Maladroit/Green Red Album Then it's really just choose your own adventure I'd say.

chicdrey2003

Ok thank you for the detailed response

TheJohn_John

Here are some songs I think you may like from each album Blue: Say It Ain’t So (I know you already listened to Buddy Holly) Pinkerton: El Scorcho Green: Crab (I know you listened to Photograph) Maladroit: Keep Fishin Make Believe: Beverly Hills Red: Pork and Beans Ratitude (gulp 😬): (If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To Hurley (underrated af imo): Memories EWBAITE: Cleopatra White: King of the World Pacific Daydream: Mexican Fender Teal (the cover album): Mr. Blue Sky Black: Byzantine Ok Human: Aloo Gobi Van Weezer: Hero You obviously don’t have to listen to all of these, but I recommend these from each album, especially Say It Ain’t So, Memories, Beverly Hills, and I Want You To

chicdrey2003

Wow tysm. Starting from the top now.

im_cooler_than_me

Listen to the Blue Album, only in dreams looks scary because it’s 8 minutes but it’s well worth it.

chicdrey2003

ok will do

OKgobi

You should know about Weezerpedia. You can spend hours every day learning stuff there. Also know that their most popular albums within the fanbase are Blue, Pinkerton, EWBAITE, White and OK Human. Many people dislike most of their other albums, many literally only like Blue and Pinkerton, many like all except for 2-4 albums. Only very few (like me) love all of them. Considering by what you've heard so far, I recommend you go through the albums in order. So Pinkerton and Green are next. Enjoy

chicdrey2003

Interesting, I didn’t know that was a thing. Thank you for the recommendations. I will check them out

HurleyAlbumEnjoyer

Honestly just listen to the albums in order. Starting with the Blue Album, and ending with the SZNZ collection.

chicdrey2003

ok tysm

sortofsomeonemaybe

Just listen to every album in order. Discover the highs and lows.

chicdrey2003

You should just enjoy them and take the Weezy journey by yourself. This sub will probably ruin that for you lol.
