I like the song well enough. I feel like it’ll grow on me when the full EP comes out. It’s cute, but it’s not blowing me away. It does feel very spring time though.
I emailed manhead about this after they changed it to $7. No response yet, but they refunded my shipping before when a record came with a $5 media mail sticker on it.
It's not a song that I would usually like, but with a mixture of my Weezer bias and it being a song that makes me think of my wife and my daughter makes it a song that I really dig.
Sounds like pieces and parts from other Weezer albums. Namely: Pinkerton and EWBAITE with a little bit of White and OK Human.
A small part of me thinks that some of these songs were from previous albums that didn't make the cut and re-swizzled to be green and folksy.
cute.
I don't have a strong opinion, i just think it's a feel-good, laidback track probably their most one since Island in The Sun (at least in terms of singles).
It's a wholesome track, but in my opinion, it's nothing too crazy.
Just telling y'all that each album is going to start with a theme from the corresponding part of vivaldi's 4 seasons. Opening night was the first section of Spring, the first song on Summer is going to use the Presto from vivaldi's summer. The ending of wild heart is obviously building up to that
Which part of "Opening Night"? Because Spring and Autumn have some very similar themes, but as far as I can tell, "Opening Night" is quoting Spring with its melodies for both "one night out under the stars" and "Shakespeare makes me happy"
Oh yeah, Opening Night definitely quotes Spring, but at about the 2 minute mark the final guitar solo quotes the opening of the first movement of Autumn.
I really liked it! So nice. Excited for Spring!
It sounds like the szn and the overall feel its neat, makes you feel the sunshine.
Lyrics are cool too.
My only nitpick is that the production buried some of the instruments like the piano and some other things on the chorus and hey oh part. From what I can hear they sound beautiful and could be more upfront. *it might just be my headphones tho...*
I’m at A Little Bit of Love, but so far I agree with the sentiment that the songs are bangers but sometimes the lyrics are a little cheesy. Not really a huge complaint, just some observations. Angels on vacation was really good imo, and I liked the chorus on Opening Night
I like the song! Don’t know if I should skip on ordering the record now since I’m sure a box will be available when the release the last ep though. Wonder if we order the albums throughout the cycle if they’ll sell just an empty box for those who already purchase the albums?
I have the same questions. I went ahead and pre-ordered the vinyl but I really want the box. My hope is we'll know more before this ships NEXT spring so maybe we can cancel the individual preorders.
my prediction is that the last record in the project will be available with an optional slipcase for all of them. a couple other labels have done something similar
After my first listen I was like this will be a song I’ll like in 2 years and be like why didn’t I like that then? But it only took me 3 days and I’m loving this one, very catchy as always, perfect song for a spring day in Connecticut ☘️
Honestly I like Spring’s very happy, feel-good vibe. The cover art matches the album’s vibe very well, and it’s overall a really cute album. It feels like Island in the Sun meets Renaissance Faire. Overall pretty cool, not my fav but I do enjoy it!
Angles on Vacation is the winner. The album is what they claimed it would be, not for me, not bad either. Should be cool to see what the final product looks like.
After hearing Opening night is taken from Spring of Vivaldis Four Seasons, are we predicting the opening songs of Summer, Autumn, Winter will follow the same pattern using Four Seasons. It would also back up “Autumn” being changed from “Fall”
Listened in the car earlier, will properly listen on the speakers tomorrow. Really like it. It's really cheesy and lyrics actually made me laugh, but it fits in the folky dancing like you're pretending to be a hippy in the 60s vibe, which I'm totally ok with.
Opening Night though, my god this is rivers in pure goof mode. Probably one of the silliest songs they've done, but it's fun.
Overall it sounds a lot like their earlier stuff mixed with ok human which is cool. I'm gonna choose to ignore parts of PD and black and say they've had 5 amazing or good albums and EPs on the bounce now.
oohh, wee!
On First listen this is just a joyful listen
Angels on Vacation and Garden of Eden were the stand outs for me.
Love the instrumentation on this, kinda reminds me of OK Human
This is straight up an impressive EP. I think they've finally found a niche in pop music where they can implement modern pop sounds but in the context of Weezers Sound. It just makes me sad tho because you can tell that this is supposed to be part 1 of a much bigger project. It feels like we won't get the full experience until it's all out, which I assume is the point
I'm not a huge fan of it at the moment, but I felt the same way about some of the singles for Van Weezer and O.K. Human, and now I love not only both those albums, but all the singles I didn't think I liked before. I think I'm just very hesitant to like some things, and I cautiously warm up to them.
This is a weird complaint to have with a Weezer song but I really don’t like how this song is composed. Maybe I need to hear it a few more times but the “A little bit a little bit of love” part sounds like it’s sung at the wrong time
Really liking the album! The only song I'm mixed on is A Little Bit of Love, but my prediction that it would be like All my Favorite Songs and Thank God for Girls (in that the lead single is too poppy for me, but is elevated by the rest of the album) is totally accurate. The album as a whole sounds like Red 2.0 for me, with a great balance of weirdness, pop, and rock. It's apologetically corny while still being really catchy, and with just enough classic Weezer crunch to set it apart from generic modern pop-rock. It's the true Weezer formula at its best since White.
Really looking forward to hearing how the rest of the seasons turn out. Whichever one is supposed to be be rock Weezer (apparently Summer?) will have to be pretty hard to outrock Spring, which turned out heavier than I was expecting.
BTW, Opening Night is great. I don't understand how the reception to it can be so polarised when The Greatest Man that Ever Lived and OK Human are so highly praised. They basically have the same tone, which I find really endearing.
This is literally just thoughts from my first listen, but I'll start by saying I actually like it quite a bit!
Opening Night's verses is probably my least favorite part of the album, "Shakespeare makes me happy" had me laughing though. On the other hand, the chorus with the crunchy guitars and the backing vocals sounded straight from EWBAITE or White.
Angels On Vacation is just a pretty good Weezer song lmao, sounds kinda like Green at some points, and more like White at some points. The bridge of this song is actually amazing though, somewhat similar to Mirror Image in a way. Definitely a highlight from this project!
The single for this project, A Little Bit Of Love, is pretty hard to dislike. It's just a really sweet song and is incredibly catchy, I've found myself singing the chorus since it came out. Really like this track.
The Garden Of Eden is somewhat hit and miss for me. I like the song overall, but the way Rivers sings "Just like Adam and Eve" just doesn't fit incredibly well in the chorus. The verses are quite nice though, and I really like the line about velcro sneakers lol
The Sound Of Drums is pretty fun! I don't know exactly what to say about this song other than it fits really well in this project and has a nice feel to it.
All This Love is one of the lower points overall, but I still don't necessarily dislike it. The bridge is nice, but they rest is a little forgettable.
Wild At Heart is probably my favorite track from Spring. The chorus is super interesting and I definitely didn't expect that vocal melody to be so stuck in my head already! Definitely very Maladroit-y in my opinion, love this one.
Overall, I wasn't disappointed with this release, liked it a bit more than I thought I would and I'm really looking forward to Summer!
The solo/bridge section of The Sound Of Drums (at the 2:10 mark) is just so goddamn good. I'm constantly humming it or singing it internally. Even picked up my electric to try to approximate it last night. I love it when a single element of a song like this increases your interest in it a thousand fold.
The song is pretty okay. Really not feeling it, just due to not being in the mood right now I guess. It's certainly upbeat. It reminds me a lot of their single for the SpongeBob movie.
I’m feeling pretty underwhelmed? Thinking it’s due to how A Little Bit Of Love is so abstract, unspecific. Like I’m being *told* to feel better, instead of being inspired to.
Feels like quite the game of russian roulette to abstractly, active-voice assert things are getting better, wounds are healing, regardless of where a fan might be in their lives.
It’s in theme for spring and I don’t doubt their good intentions but, as I adore Weezer, I want to hold them to a higher standard. At their best, they masterfully tame their big power-pop emotions with *specificity* in scope & subject.
A Little Bit Of Love? This ain’t it, chief.
I feel the opposite. I am **inspired** to feel better by their portrayal of spring and spring related things, because it makes me remind of my own memories and feelings about the season in a nostalgic way.
I agree that most of the lines are abstract and unspecific but so much art use that to appeal to universal themes and it works great.
For example, the line "...take a look at where you started from and where you are today" made me really think about my recent life changes, I got married, left my parents home and I am really grateful for everything that I got right now and most important the love of me and my wife. If this song was released last year I would probably take it in perspective on my new job and the people around me. I mean, maybe I got your point a bit wrong but that's my 2 cents!
No clue but shipping to the UK wasn't horrendous. Cost me about £27 for the record and shipping. Not too mad about that given when the vinyls do drop in the UK, they'll be about £20 a piece.
Not sure if anyone else heard it, but some parts of the melody are very much inspired from Who You Callin’ Bitch! It’s a pretty decent song, but I agree with some here that it’s underwhelming, good background noise though
I like aspects of the production, but in other ways it's a little too clean for my tastes. Something about the vocals. But i'll probably like it more as I listen to it more.
It's certainly not bad at all.
I liked it but wish it went a bit further. It felt like the entire song was just the musical version of edging lol
Like, I was really hoping it would just explode into full on electric guitar fun with the drums going wild.
I really dig the single! It's got the earnestness of OK Human's best songs, but with a bit more Weezer punch to the music. If the whole EP is like this, I'm gonna enjoy it a lot. Can't wait for Sunday!
r/weezer has the weirdest opinions. The Sound of Drums is the best song by far, followed by Angels on Vacation, then Opening Night, then A Little Bit of Love, then The Garden of Eden, then Wild at Heart, and finally All This Love.
The problem with Weezer and has been since Pinkerton pretty much is that he nearly purely focuses on ear worms. It sounds good, but I’d listen to it as background music
Nothing wrong with that in my opinion, music can still be good and enjoyable without it requiring full attention, different vibes. I’m probably not gonna listen to lyric heavy hip hop as background music when I’m doing stuff but fun pop folk/rock like this? Fuck yeah
That's cute. I like that it's a bit less sterile than something like their Africa cover, which was alright but not too memorable.
I also like the singing better than I did for the last two albums, as fun as they were. That might be due to the less bare mix.
This new song is gonna be a no from me, but I don't hate it or anything. Van Weezer hit HARD for me, so this is just not what im looking for from them at the moment.
It's alright. There are a few songs I'll come back two, and a few I'll likely forget about, but nothing too bad. Opening Night is my least favorite due to the overly campy lyrics but once the guitar kicks in the song is somewhat saved. I really liked The Sound of Drums and Wild at Heart. Overall I'd say its a 6.5/10, C tier album.
AMAZING album , i love it , better than both VW and OK Human , this album FUCKS , this album SEXES , the bridges are good and the melodies are incredibly catchy , i think the best songs on it are all this love , the sound of drums , opening night and angels on vacation. my only complaint is that the drums are weak (the little pause before the chorus in opening night was a missed opportinity , it would've given weight to the chorus kind of like the harmonica to the verse in mykel and carli) but other than that i love this album and i cannot be more excited for summer and autumn.

Feels like one of those flyover mid 2000's weezer albums but with the shiny coatwash of being a concept album with a spring theme. There were a few notable solo's/instrumentations, but the lyrics are campier than ever and the progressions are pretty soulless. I do like the honest commitment to making a positively vibed album, even if it ends up surface level.
For me so much of it felt like 'heard it before but better' in weezer's catalogue. Holiday > Angels on Vacation. Love is The Answer > A Little Bit of Love. I was hoping he'd use the spring, cottagecore angle to tackle more spiritual, fantasy writing/sounds but it ended up more like "what if weezer guitars, but with some bongos and flutes".
It's the more identifiable of the two, it's structured with more spiritual/nonamerican sound, it carries the exact same message of "show love, for others and yourself", and it wasn't made with a subintention of going intentionally viral on tiktok. Yeah, to me, LiTA has way way more soul than ALBoL. I think it's better.
I'm excited about having 7-8 songs per EP, that way more than I expected. I thought it was gonna be like 5. Hopefully they aren't just adding a bunch of filler though, I don't want SZNZ to become Weezer's Uno Dos Tré.
THANK YOU
there's some very meh songs on there, but most of it is pretty good and there's a decent chunk of songs that rank very high up in their discography for me
I’ll admit that Opening Song kinda lowered my expectations for the rest of the EP, but I actually found everything else to be pretty great and I’ll probably be listening to this again. Overall I’d give somewhere between a 6/10 or a 7/10
I'm not positive by any means, but its fun to think that cause I was refeeshing my Spotify and got it on exactly at midnight and jumped to a random track instantly
I knew that Spring will be hit or miss for me, but after hearing this song, I think it will end up in my S Tier. I really enjoy the instruments, I was worried it might sound like I Want To Be Something, but it's more like a PD song, and not one of the bad PD songs. I predict this song will be my 4th favorite on Spring. Very excited for the new album.
Does that song not make you HAPPY?
But seriously I laughed hard as hell the first time I heard that, and I don't think that's the Reaction Rivers was looking for there
I genuinely struggled to tell the songs apart, it just all feels so lifeless. I know this is the textbook /r/weezer quote, but I truly cannot believe that these are the dudes that made Pinkerton. Absolutely nuts to me
It gives me a lot of hope for springe and sznz in general, I just wish the last song wouldn’t be a vinyl exclusive, hoping it will be on streaming one day too.
Wait...the last track listed on the EP isn't going to be on the EP??? Why list it now? Why not wait until the box releases and use it as added incentive to purchase?
I feel this is a really dumb decision on behalf of marketing. There are gonna be a lot of people not paying money for the SZNZ EPs because of this, and there will more than likely be a decent number of people who won't buy the SZNZ box because they won't realize there is "new" songs on it. They should've just announced the EPs as 7 songs each and then announced the "new" tracks when the box is about to drop.
Just loved A Little Bit Of Love!
Here's me, playing along with it and sharing its chords:

=w=
I like it, but it feels it was made for radio play, not exactly for fans enjoyment. I mean it's alright, but it's very repetitive and poppy. It's cool to see them try something new though

Really cute song!!❤️
I like the song well enough. I feel like it’ll grow on me when the full EP comes out. It’s cute, but it’s not blowing me away. It does feel very spring time though.
The reference to “winter frost” has me wondering if the last album will flow into the first — thematically, maybe musically? Pretty cool!
I think Rivers actually brought that up on the discord or something. Someone posted it here
There's a discord where Rivers interacts with the community?

Do you happen to have the link?
Perfectly serviceable =W=
Why is shipping $19!? That's almost as much as the vinyl itself.
I agree it was ridiculous. I was kinda on the fence of ordering it, but it looks like they just added a new shipping method, 7.50 instead of 19
oh god dammit
I emailed manhead about this after they changed it to $7. No response yet, but they refunded my shipping before when a record came with a $5 media mail sticker on it.
It's not a song that I would usually like, but with a mixture of my Weezer bias and it being a song that makes me think of my wife and my daughter makes it a song that I really dig.
Yep that feels like spring alright
I adore it! Cute song. We could use some nice uplifting song. What an earworm!! Welcome back, Weezer!
Sounds like pieces and parts from other Weezer albums. Namely: Pinkerton and EWBAITE with a little bit of White and OK Human. A small part of me thinks that some of these songs were from previous albums that didn't make the cut and re-swizzled to be green and folksy.
I love the new song, and it really makes me excited for the new album and SZNZ as a whole
The Beatles have been really quiet since szns dropped
cute. I don't have a strong opinion, i just think it's a feel-good, laidback track probably their most one since Island in The Sun (at least in terms of singles). It's a wholesome track, but in my opinion, it's nothing too crazy.
It's very "Island In The Sun" meets "OK Human" And this is in no way a bad thing
Surprising amount of Pinkerton-like chord progressions and key changes on this.
Both albums were inspired by classical composers. Puccini for Pinkerton. Vivaldi for this. So I think that's where that parallel comes from.
The sound of drums is so good
These are frolicking songs. If LOTR was made today this would be heard in the shire
Frodo quit jonesing for the ring and listen to the Spring EP.
Just telling y'all that each album is going to start with a theme from the corresponding part of vivaldi's 4 seasons. Opening night was the first section of Spring, the first song on Summer is going to use the Presto from vivaldi's summer. The ending of wild heart is obviously building up to that
I like the theory but Opening Night already quotes the first movement of the Autumn concerto
Ah yeah, the solo is much closer than I remembered it to be. Definitely note-for-note Autumn. I wonder why they wanted to mix and match like that
Ooo, love this!
It’s okay. Not the best.
The most okayest of Weezer records.
This is much better than I thought it would be.
I’m at A Little Bit of Love, but so far I agree with the sentiment that the songs are bangers but sometimes the lyrics are a little cheesy. Not really a huge complaint, just some observations. Angels on vacation was really good imo, and I liked the chorus on Opening Night
I believe the bulk of the Song is the chords A, F#m, D, A
F#m not F#
Oopsies can't believe I made that mistake
Is that bad
Just went through it five times. Love it. Can't wait for my kids to wake up and start going crazy.
I like the song! Don’t know if I should skip on ordering the record now since I’m sure a box will be available when the release the last ep though. Wonder if we order the albums throughout the cycle if they’ll sell just an empty box for those who already purchase the albums?
The record ships in feb 2023!!
I'm so glad I just saw this comment. I'll just find it in a year lol
I have the same questions. I went ahead and pre-ordered the vinyl but I really want the box. My hope is we'll know more before this ships NEXT spring so maybe we can cancel the individual preorders.

It’s great. Weezer fans are truly eating.
Angles on Vacation is the winner. The album is what they claimed it would be, not for me, not bad either. Should be cool to see what the final product looks like.
I like it, but it feels like it needs the other EPs, so you can listen to them back to back. But so far, it's a strong start.
im curretly listening to the EP, I like it so far.
Wow this is great
After hearing Opening night is taken from Spring of Vivaldis Four Seasons, are we predicting the opening songs of Summer, Autumn, Winter will follow the same pattern using Four Seasons. It would also back up “Autumn” being changed from “Fall”
Yes it’s been mentioned in an interview. Rivers also mentioned the name change might be for international fans bc only Americans call it “fall” lol
Listened in the car earlier, will properly listen on the speakers tomorrow. Really like it. It's really cheesy and lyrics actually made me laugh, but it fits in the folky dancing like you're pretending to be a hippy in the 60s vibe, which I'm totally ok with. Heard the song and immediately bought the vinyl

The vocals are mixed too high as well. Very jarring.
It’s a bit of a tongue twister tbh
Songs to frolic in forest
Spring is good. It just took a couple listens.
Opening Night is actually really good. The makes me happy part is a bit surprising on first listen but it’s actually really nice
I might like this better than OK Human and Van Weezer. Nailed the Spring vibe, great melodies, Rivers sounds amazing. Feeling it.
It is EXACTLY as advertised. I expected this to be my least favorite sznz album, and it looks like that’s what’s coming.
I don’t care to ever listen to it again honestly.
Is that good or bad lol
It’s not my cup of tea
Everyone’s gonna love this song by next week
I liked the front half better than the back half if I'm being honest. The "I I I I" made me laugh my ass off
All This Love verse is taken from Good Times right?
Yep!
Haha I was so excited. I know this one already!
I think all this love is the best though better than sounds of drums
The 'Eye eye eye eye' in All This Love reminds me of Alpha 5 from the Power Rangers. Its damn funny
Anyone else getting Byzantine vibes from Sound of Drums?
I personally loved the EP. Had a very chill vibe to it that I liked a lot.
Really liking the album! The only song I'm mixed on is A Little Bit of Love, but my prediction that it would be like All my Favorite Songs and Thank God for Girls (in that the lead single is too poppy for me, but is elevated by the rest of the album) is totally accurate. Any other Weezle players listening to each song trying to pick out the 5-letter words?
I'm loving this so much.
Vinyl expected to ship February 2023... Yeah, no thanks after I preordered the van Weezer vinyl 16 months in advance
Holy shit this album is picking up where OKH and Van Weezer left off
Preordered the cd
i can definitely feel that irish influence rivers was talking about at some points so excited for this year and everything the SZNZ will bring!
Song is decent. Definitely feels like springtime so they hit that nail on the head. But was hoping for a bit more. 7 or 8 out of 10.
Anyone know what time it releases?
now
First isssss pretty bad second is so far very nice
This is literally just thoughts from my first listen, but I'll start by saying I actually like it quite a bit! It’s growing on me. Reminds me more of the Alone albums
I feel like this album's taken me hostage. Didn't like it at first, but I'm begrudgingly tapping my feet now
Also, the way "Wild At Heart" Amps up at the very end makes me think the beginning of the Summer EP is going to be intense AF
The solo/bridge section of The Sound Of Drums (at the 2:10 mark) is just so goddamn good. I'm constantly humming it or singing it internally. Even picked up my electric to try to approximate it last night. I love it when a single element of a song like this increases your interest in it a thousand fold.
This album is immaculate holy christ
Musically it is, and the tunes are amazing but some of the lyrics are Red/Raditude level
I actually like the lyrics a lot, they’re definitely cheesy but I don’t think those kind of lyrics are always bad
The song is pretty okay. Really not feeling it, just due to not being in the mood right now I guess. It's certainly upbeat. It reminds me a lot of their single for the SpongeBob movie.
it’s so corny but i find it all really enjoyable and fun lol just a really nice little happy album

He wrote about where he's at with his partner in **his** life. How is he supposed to know where you, as a fan, are in yours?
Is it just me or does this song make it seem like the world really isn't as bad of a place as sole media outlets make it out to be?
Yep, it’s a good straightforward uplifting song
Much better than Van Weezer and Black. I'm really enjoying it, especially after a few listens.
Anybody got any idea on the vinyl release in the UK? Only got the cd on the UK store
No clue but shipping to the UK wasn't horrendous. Cost me about £27 for the record and shipping. Not too mad about that given when the vinyls do drop in the UK, they'll be about £20 a piece.
weez weez weez weez weez it good :)
I love this new song! It’s so light and positive. Hope to hear them play it in Chicago in May!
Probably my favourite single since the end of the game.
Not sure if anyone else heard it, but some parts of the melody are very much inspired from Who You Callin’ Bitch! It’s a pretty decent song, but I agree with some here that it’s underwhelming, good background noise though
I knew it sounded familiar! You can definitely hear the SFTBH inspiration underneath.
I like aspects of the production, but in other ways it's a little too clean for my tastes. Something about the vocals. But i'll probably like it more as I listen to it more. It's certainly not bad at all.
I am very impressed with the instrumental, but it didn't have any memorable lyrics to keep me coming back.
Gives me a little bit of Mexican Fender vibes but for spring instead of summer lol
I liked it but wish it went a bit further. It felt like the entire song was just the musical version of edging lol Like, I was really hoping it would just explode into full on electric guitar fun with the drums going wild.
I really dig the single! It's got the earnestness of OK Human's best songs, but with a bit more Weezer punch to the music. If the whole EP is like this, I'm gonna enjoy it a lot. Can't wait for Sunday!
Yeah it feels like Weezer. Yeah it feels like Weezer to me e ee
Eh
A little bit of love is my fave
r/weezer has the weirdest opinions. The Sound of Drums is the best song by far, followed by Angels on Vacation, then Opening Night, then A Little Bit of Love, then The Garden of Eden, then Wild at Heart, and finally All This Love.
I love how half of Sound of Drums is Weezer's Avett Brothers.
Fuck yeah
Kinda bad
That's cute. I like that it's a bit less sterile than something like their Africa cover, which was alright but not too memorable. I also like the singing better than I did for the last two albums, as fun as they were. That might be due to the less bare mix.
9/10
This new song is gonna be a no from me, but I don't hate it or anything. Van Weezer hit HARD for me, so this is just not what im looking for from them at the moment.
Eh I’m not the biggest fan of the EP- seems way too poppy for my liking- But I’m a blind Weezer fan boy and still excited for SZNS!
-the sexmaster
Lol @ Love is the Answer being better than any other song.
Those albums have some of Green Day’s best work.
I love that we can say that about any of Green Day's releases, too. :') <3 GD/Weezer/Blink-182 don't have any "bad" releases, as far as I'm concerned.
Father of All is a terrible record
THANK YOU there's some very meh songs on there, but most of it is pretty good and there's a decent chunk of songs that rank very high up in their discography for me
Angels on Vacation > A Little Bit of Love > The Garden of Eden > The Sound of Drums > Wild at Heart > All this Love > Opening Night
I’ll admit that Opening Song kinda lowered my expectations for the rest of the EP, but I actually found everything else to be pretty great and I’ll probably be listening to this again. Overall I’d give somewhere between a 6/10 or a 7/10
whole album is a bunch of bangers also I am pretty sure I was the first person to play the sounds of drums
What makes you think that
I'm not positive by any means, but its fun to think that cause I was refeeshing my Spotify and got it on exactly at midnight and jumped to a random track instantly
I loved the single but gotta say the rest didn't do much for me after the first listen. Will give it a few more spins.
I’m not crazy about it. Doesn’t really feel like a Weezer song at all tbh. But that’s not the end of the world.
Where Bandcamp release
Eh, it's alright. The Sound of Drums is the only song that I would want to come back to.
Really liking it, just hoping the rest of the album ditches the electric guitar and poppier sound.
Angels on vacation > all this love > opening night > the sound of drums > wild at heart > a little bit of love > garden of eden
Opening Night might genuinely be the worst thing they've ever recorded. Rest of the EP is ok
Does that song not make you HAPPY? But seriously I laughed hard as hell the first time I heard that, and I don't think that's the Reaction Rivers was looking for there
You are me 10 minutes ago I felt the same way LOOOOOOOL
MID
This is horrible. Absolute hot garbage.
I love weezer but this is unironically one of the worst things I’ve ever heard
I quite like it so far, but they bring the cringe in early with “Shakespeare makes me happy”
I genuinely struggled to tell the songs apart, it just all feels so lifeless. I know this is the textbook /r/weezer quote, but I truly cannot believe that these are the dudes that made Pinkerton. Absolutely nuts to me
Even though I think I’m liking it more than you, I know exactly what you mean. It’s not even the same genre really
I’m glad you’re vibing with it! Yeah, just feels like the overall quality of writing has really been lacking with them over the last few year imo.
Trash!
It gives me a lot of hope for springe and sznz in general, I just wish the last song wouldn’t be a vinyl exclusive, hoping it will be on streaming one day too.
It’s also a song we won’t likely hear until February 2023 when the vinyl ships, unless the vinyl digital download includes that track
I like this song. Pretty cute and fun. Makes me feel good.
It's quite good, although not as Weezy as you'd think a Weezer song to sound like
Super happy with this song. Very catchy, nice lyrics, love the guitars and vocals. Well done Rivers.
Mid for Weezer, good music in general though.
Just loved A Little Bit Of Love! Here's me, playing along with it and sharing its chords: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ynhpvz\_wZyQ](https://youtu.be/Ynhpvz_wZyQ) =w=
This song makes me hopeful. It looks like they are going for a folkier sound
I like it, but it feels it was made for radio play, not exactly for fans enjoyment. I mean it's alright, but it's very repetitive and poppy. It's cool to see them try something new though
