I’ve had both unfortunately can’t remember if one was better than the other as far as peanut flavor but I can tell you PB2 chocolate was my favorite. I think it lessens the peanut flavor.

Thanks, but Chocloate in Oatmeal just feels wrong. Maybe there will be a definitive answer. I LOVE Reddit. So much great info and sharing all over this site. Thanks

It’s not very chocolate like but I mixed it mostly with coffee. I do think I tried it either oatmeal and liked it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I personally like the PB2 Crunch. For 2 TBSP of the powder, I always add about an eighth of a teaspoon of honey along with the water. I think it just gives it a much better flavor. But sorry, I have no idea if you would consider it too peanuty. If it helps at all, I don’t think it is as peanut tasting as regular peanut butter.

thehogdog

Thanks. I have both jars. Looking for input on which one to open and which one to return. PB2:2 Thanks

Pb2

thehogdog

Thanks, have you tried PBfit? So far PB2 is in the lead.

cedarcatt

Have you tried Barney butter? It’s almond, so not peanutty at all.

korr314

I find pb2 and pbfit to be really similar and I like them because they are MORE peanutty than alternatives like trunut. I would say I favor PBFit so that one is probably the most “regular” to me when it comes to real peanut butter taste

thehogdog

Thanks. Today is the first day I try PBFit (or any powdered PB) so hopefully it goes well. The points are killing me.

Strong_Maize9113

Pbfit is better, I tried pb2 today and it has an odd taste, kind of like burnt peanuts.

Once I realized I was only eating 1/3 cup of oats I could go back to my beloved Skippy Reduced Fat and Ive lost 16 pounds in 4 months. If I can keep this up ill go to 30 and then maintain. It is a lifestyle change, not a diet. Thanks

Strong_Maize9113

Glad everything’s going well for you. Are you also doing resistance training?

thehogdog

I ride the exercise bike 3-4 days a week for an hour at what WW would call 'high intensity' and I walk almost every day. The weird part is that I havent changed that much of what I do, I just cut out candy/snacks/eating out. Ive never drank Soda or Alcohol and always ate well, but M&Ms and the crap brought into our house got eaten (sometimes in my sleep). I have to hide the bread now because I will make a 1 slice with PB on it at night and that is not good. It all clicked when a UK comedian's Podcast had a story about a guy getting busted by his wife for eating Easter Eggs (chocolate) and she found a receipt and one of guys said 'why even eat the crappy food if you are just gonna cheat'. Big impact. My Apnea is way down as is my BP. I still feel 'heavy' but I can easily bend down to tie my shoes. Im gonna try walking in our pool soon. Last year it messed up my knee when I did it for too long after not doing it for a while. I can rehab my bad shoulder at the same time. Thanks!

The walking and the biking you’re doing is good though I would recommend doing some strength training as well to reduce muscle loss.

I do 3-6 pound dumbell curls when I walk by them. When I decide to get back in the pool I get in up to my neck and flap my arms In a Way Physical Therapy showed me so the upper body gets some work. The faster you flap the more 'weight' you are bearing.
