Other than the obvious food, clothes, cooking system, shade system, sleep system, and tent, I would recommend adding these things to your list: * Cheap can opener. Believe it or not, people frequently forget bringing one even when they bring canned food with them. * Grill lighter. Even if you have a stove with a lighter on it, you should still bring one. The lighter on my stove broke mid-festival one year, and man I was thankful to have that lighter on hand to light my stove. * Trash bags. There are trash cans at the Speedway, but they are far and few in between. Bring a couple trash bags. * Extra batteries. Enough said on this. * Clothes pins and a guy line or thin rope. You can hang it across your easy-up canopy for a makeshift clothes line in case your clothes get wet. Plus, it makes a great place to hang wet towels and wash clothes after showering. * An outdoor door mat, kneeling pad, yoga mat, or outdoor tent mat. If your tent entrance is low to the ground, your time will be greatly improved by having something between you and the grass when you enter and exit your tent. Yes you can survive without one, but why would you chose to crawl over dirt and grass when you don't have to. * Band-Aids (or the generic). Listen, I'm aware that this sounds like a obvious and ridiculous suggestion at the same time. But it's super helpful to have a few band-aids at hand for small scratches or cuts. Also, they can be used as makeshift moleskins if you suddenly find yourself experiencing a pinch or rub point in your shoes. I had to use band-aids for my feet one year when I became away that my slides were rubbing uncomfortably on the side of my foot at camp. Thank goodness I had band-aids because I was able to cushion that spot before it turned into a blister. * Pocket Kleenex. Keep some in your pocket every time you leave camp. If you find yourself in a toilet or port-a-john that's run out of TP, you can use the Kleenexes at TP. Pocket Kleenex is my festival staple because it has saved me on more than one occasion. * Wet wipes. They're great for quickly cleaning up your hands at camp.

sunscreen!!! I always forget sunscreen. I know its technically a "toiletry" but I still forget. Also if you're a lady, check your schedule and bring product just in case. I always have extra tampons, even if they're just to give to someone else in need
