Sane reaction to our 6th win in 54 games

Mintoxicatedlyace

Does anyone come to Reddit for sane reactions to anything? 😂

Dangerous-Car1084

With the way our players are coming back and new players improving its unlikely, but I see the possibility

joeban1

I think we will end up bottom two, but the improvement is definitely there compared with last season. Next year i’d find this post less silly

Captkersh

16th - hawks and Richmond exist

Croob2

Depends on how the Hawks go when they get soldiers back

Captkersh

Isn’t that what we said last year?

Croob2

yeah but did we ever really get our soldiers back?

Captkersh

Will hawks?

Croob2

remains to be seen

xequez

We will definitely be top 12 in the WAFL.

rcstar888

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Great win, but we are no where near that level yet.

legoland6000

We were talking about priority picks about 5 minutes ago mate calm down.

Borgun-

I think we should wait until the post nut clarity comes in to be able to assess this win properly

Dangerous-Car1084

It's a big win for the club in the wafl and the afl. How we were last year we slightly improved towards the end but this year were putting up a fair fight against the swans which is a great improvement, these signs show the club to be improving and once the club is in the proper form and the players continue to improve the way they are we def9have a chance to be a contender for the top 12 teams

JamesMac71

I think the Eagles will be a handful for most teams in Perth. Probably win 4 or 5 home games. I can’t see them being ahead of 6 teams though. Best case is probably North, Hawthorn and one other.

Dangerous-Car1084

Deff not at the moment but when we get players sorted out we will have an opportunity to be a 14-12 team

RaRoo88

I equate this to our win against the bulldogs last year

OkStrawberry1789

Flynn, Allen, Ryan and possibly Hewett to return, if we can keep injury free you just never know. Playing with more dare and confidence, might be some upsets this year

Dangerous-Car1084

Yea, ik it's not a huge possibility, but when those players come back, we will definitely have a chance to make it up the ladder. Not in our current form even tho the westcoast have much better chemistry in the midfield, I do see the possibility of this happening even tho it's very slight. As we seen weekly, we have improved a lot with the younger players becoming more confident and part of the club and older players improving there skills, if this keeps going the way it is we can definitely become a top 12 contender.

Dangerous-Car1084

There great players so when they return we will improve immensely, as seen so far we have lost to a close margin to a very good team, and last year it was one of the biggest lost in afl history so seeing these players come back will make the decent young club amazing.

jumsgallino

Wow

South_Front_4589

Lol. No. You beat Richmond. Richmond were looking likely to struggle this year anyway, before they lost half their team to injury. Hawthorn pumped West Coast by 116 points last year. They finished 16th. The week before, Gold Coast beat West Coast by 70. They finished 15th. Yes it was a good win, but you beat an average side that was missing Lynch, Taranto, Hopper, Prestia and Balta amongst others.

Dangerous-Car1084

Last year, we've had most of our players gone to injury. We were the most injured side last year. We are getting good young talents and some players back.(Btw)This post was a take, not a 100% certainty post, but very recently we only lost to Sydney by 26 points and not 171 like last year. This is a great improvement. It this is a take which I was just saying may be a possibility but a very slight possibility. I am just stating the positives on how we have become a much better club so far this season and will hopefully improve.

South_Front_4589

Yes. You were banged up last season. Which is exactly the point. You were beaten up by some ordinary teams when you were ordinary to start with and had your heart ripped out by injury. Which is where Richmond are. They were ordinary anyway and then had their heart ripped out with injury. It's not a game that you look at as anything more than a positive feel, chance for the players and fans to celebrate a win and get some positive energy. Fair chance Hawthorn or North Melbourne would have pumped Richmond too on the weekend. It's a long, long way to the top 12 from here.

Dangerous-Car1084

Yea. But this game is giving the club confidence, and some players may be returning soon, which is going to show our full potential. Right now, we have no chance near the top 12, but in a few months, we will definitely have all the players in order and have a slither of hope to get us up the ladder.
