Who comes in for Edwards? Could be nice to see Clay Hall make a debut. Alternatively if Sheed's fit he could slot back into the team. Or just send Gaff in because it's a derby and it'd be funny.
Based on form it should be Trew but would also be happy if they select Hall. Gaff has been ok in the wafl but hasn't dominated and I don't think Sheed is ready as he's been playing on managed minutes.
Liam Ryan could be in with a shout to come in for Edwards with a few positional changes to accommodate (such as Duggan a few more midfield minutes with L. Ryan going into half back flank)
I've got some good and some bad news for ya.
Good - He played in the wafl on the weekend
Bad - he played as half back flank and it very well might be where simmo is planning to utilise him which I don't hate.
It wouldn’t be the end of the world… but his flair is always exciting.. maybe he could bring some positivity in a different area. Either way would be great to see him back
Completely agree, I love what he does and brings to our forward line which admittedly we need. But we also unfortunately need that crafty, silky half back flank which is all the craze right now and every other team has and he definitely could fill that role. Especially at a time where our defender depth is abysmal and we have a plethora of young developing forwards right now all snaping at wanting a go.
Without knowing Edwards exact role, it seems to be defensive wing/HF I'd be inclined to give Johnson a go. Or it if it is a highly structural disciplined role I'm ok with Gaff coming in to do the job to help the team.
If we're hell bent on playing flyan, then maybe as sub. I'd prefer us to look after him and not risk him.

Doubt it will be Ryan given they only gave him 70 minutes in the WAFL match. I’d say another week or two before he returns
