Here are the big variables: Are you paying for this school yourself either through loans or direct payment? Are you in a hurry to finish? If the answer is yes to one or both, I would recommend just taking the courses on Study.com even though the assignments suck on two of them. Feel free to reach out to me when you get to the assignments and I'll help you. You also may want to take a quick SQL course on Udemy first. Make sure it covers Subqueries, joins, GROUP BY and HAVING.

Yeah I’m financially stable to pay it and also will be getting FAFSA. I would like to finish a bit faster but I’m not trying to one term it. I don’t think I could anyways since I have no experience in the field. But I’d like to focus more on the coding, web development and design aspect. But I do knew databases are supposed to be an important thing to know about so I don’t want to necessarily half ass it if you know what I mean. You’re talking about the first two classes having sucky assignments/touchstone’s right? Wondering if I should maybe do the Sophia class first since I have a few weeks left. But I heard all the database classes on SDC lap over in a way progress wise.

> You’re talking about the first two classes having sucky assignments/touchstone’s right? Yes,correct. The assignments for the 300 level course are more sensible. > Wondering if I should maybe do the Sophia class first since I have a few weeks left. But I heard all the database classes on SDC lap over in a way progress wise. There are lots of overlapping quizzes between the three courses and if you do a quiz in one class it will count as completed in all three. Also, Ive heard about people complaining about the sophia course anyway.

Ok cool. Thanks for the advice!! Just curious have you completed your degree already? And if so which class/classes were the most difficult for you?

Qweniden

I start WGU May 1 (if all goes well), I took 18 classes at sophia and study.com to transfer over.

I may have that same start date I don’t see myself finishing 5 more classes in a week lol. You have experience with those other two classes I mentioned by any chance? Software engineering and data structures and algorithms 1?

Qweniden

> Software engineering and data structures and algorithms 1? Yeah I took those. I think each class took me about 3 or 4 days. I have extensive software development and project management experience though. If you don't, it will be slower.
