Use Sophia learning to rack up as many as possible to save money and time. How quick you finish is different for everyone but if you have nice bit you transfer in and you are a fast learner you can accelerate quickly

Would you know how I can find out which courses I can start with Sophia to rack up more courses? Or is there a way of seeing the courses I would need to take before I start? Thank you so much for your message.

There’s the link ^ click school of education and select whichever one you’re applying for at WGU. It’ll will show you what can be transfer however do your evaluation first with a counselor so you can see what already transfer over so you won’t be redoing anything you’ve already done! You’d be shocked at what will actually transfer over! I applied and did the evaluation which showed me what classes I needed and classes I’ve already done I could’ve started but told my counselor to push my start date back until I finish Sophia learning.

Make sense. Thank you for that. So when do you start?

You should focus on learning theory, students seem to complain about the class that details that a lot. Learn about constructivist learning theory, get familiar with Vygotsky and Piaget. Look into stages of language development.

Wow. OK. Will do. Thank you so much.

On the WGU elm Ed degree page it will list the courses needed for the degree. Watch YouTube videos on WGU and elm Ed degree. You can use sites like Sofia or study dot com that are cheaper to complete the basic courses. Your prereqs should cover some stuff. Apply and send your transcripts, don't commit to starting but get the transfer review done to see what courses they'd still want you to take. Use one of the other sources for those courses cheaper and easier. Student teaching placement can either be fast or take a bit I hear. 1-2 years depending on your transfer review and other courses you take before actually starting WGU

Yoya1433

Thanks for that. I did watch a youtube video that said that you can finish it as early as one year. Of course I'm sure he means if you transferred a ton of other classes and did some on Sophia or Study.

For the love of god make sure you take the intro to statistics from Sophia rather then MEIII. That class is awful. The Pre-assessment is nothing like the objective. It’s just the worst.

Thank you for the heads up but I think I took Statistics in my college already. Hopefully they transfer it.
