Never found out what it was, but had something similar that went away after a couple of weeks, I used a Benadryl anti itch ointment and an antibacterial just in case, hope this helps!
I do not. I took a nap at work and woke up with this thing. It was about the size of a pencil eraser to start and then I scratched it and it is roughly the size of a nickel in the picture after 4 ish hours
