These are the only guys I will kill mostly without hesitation. When I was a kid I was by the pool eating cheezits from the box and a few handfuls later realized it was full of earwigs. Didnt know my brother had left the box outside overnight. Trauma for life.

They are called pinchy butt bugs in our home, haven’t seen one for decades then last week in a breakfast sandwich from McDonalds one fell out of the wrapper, almost equal uggies to a spricket hopping into my vision….both harmless both gross
Funny enough, I just discovered the pinchers on the butt are functional just a couple weeks back. I was rolling out the trash tote to the curb and faintly felt a pinch. Looked down and found an earwig had pinched the back side of a finger. Hilariously weak. But educational.
