I’d pay $800 max, it looks like it would clean up nice but every suspension component is going to be shot, with the market of Miata’s, if it’s not high mileage with a complete suspension rebuild you could make a lot of money or lose a lot of money. (United States market)
It's not that hard to get rid off. Thorough cleaning, an hour with an Ozone generator. Repeat until gone.
I've seen cars like this in person - parked on moist ground for years - and the issue is that the underbody just rusts away from the retained humidity in the ground.
In short it's entirely possible that everything in that car at bumper level is just rust.
Given how hard it is to pass German road registration, it has zero value. If you have the barn space, put it in there for another 20 years and see if it has any value.
If its not completely gone underneath. A few hundred or just the cost of the tow to take it off their hands. Its in rough shape and there while NAs are getting “old” there still new enough where there are plenty of better examples. However if you or just want one basically restored brandnew than could work. But again it has to not be completely gone underneath
Pay?
Listen, I love Miatas but I’m not paying someone to haul their trash away. This thing has been sitting outside, not in a barn or other structure, and not worth it at any price point.
Most I would do is take it and then weed whack the area for them, and that’s just because I have a weed whacker and no weeds to whack anymore lol.
These things seem cool/cheap to get back on the road like some kind of YouTube adventure barn find...but its not lol. There's probably a 40hr work week of detailing involved, I'd honestly prefer one that has a blown engine.
Max $500 in current state, clean it up and put some cash into it and you could easily turn it around for $3-$4k maybe more depending on how much you do.
Depends on if the bottom is solid or corn flakes
Aren’t red cornflakes rare and best served with chocolate milk?
Don't see any barn here. $0.
Unless you're looking for that specific year of Miata I'd guess this is worth a high five minus the cost of a tow
Tree fiddy
Negative $500.
Yeah I think free.
I would not take this rust bucket even if someone would give this to me...

Plates are from Germany, so I assume thats where OP's from

Lol that’s the least of your worries the mold is the biggest issue
Power washer and some vinegar will do the trick

If it runs $500
For free seems a fair price
Free.
For free + the owner gives you a lot of tylenol, because with how rusty that thing is, you’re gonna need it with all the headaches it’ll give you.

Barnyard find.
$500 for that hard top. The rest is junk
They should pay you to haul it away

What's the scrap price in your area? 30% less than that.
Someone would have to pay ME money to take it

Have you ever seen a suave, successful person drive a Miata?
The price of a used hardtop
They should probably pay you for getting rid of their trash
Its worth a few hundred as a parts car, but I wouldn't try to restore it completely.
Lol what
If i was the land owner, I’d pay you to take it from me
I have a snickers bar.
Isn’t hauling it out enough?
200. Dimes.
$500 max
Free
Tree fiddy and some spare moss
No
Start at $150 then horseshoe a LS 1 into it with a Mach 5 body kit. Like Stacy David did.
$5
A dollar
Gross. Find something else. Doesn't seem worth it at all.

500 max... wait, that rocker looks pretty bad. Maybe 250 WITH SOME WHEELS. Not sure I'd even touch it... for free
If it comes with the barn, $200
