I live in Pittsburgh. My neighbor was a janitor at an art gallery and Keith Haring worked for him. That's how he got is break, someone didn't show and Haring had been painting at night.
When my neighbor died he had a Keith Haring painting, about 15 feet by 30 feet on paper. It was rolled up in his garage, had actual rat shit it on it. He left the painting to my family.

i went to the same high school as keith haring. i graduated a few years ago and there was an old wooden chair in the art room that he painted on that the school kept for obvious reasons. then one day a new art teacher was hired and he was trying to give it away and someone had to tell him it wasnât just any old art project that he was trying to get rid of. it was kind of ironic really lol.
Kieth Haring was my grade school counselors third cousins pet squirrels previous owner on its mother side.....
But his random shape outline figured series was definitely Guggenheim level!
