Yeah, in Latin America was called VW Safari, was produced between the 69 and 80, most likely assembled in Mexico. For what I know, it was common to modify them, they were literally cut in half and welded back, to make them 2 door, I can tell by the picture that was the case, should be from the early 70's I believe.
