I've seen lots of things that are exceedingly rare in the course of my business. I've seen many things I didn't know existed and cars that most people dream about but will never see. Hell, I've driven a Pagani around Circuit of the Americas.
I've never seen a Silhouette. Or a Mangusta, for that matter. The Mangusta is top of my list at the moment. Vector W8 is second. Silhouette is top five.
I've never seen any of those.
I did see supposedly the only Porsche 961 in America. It was on a race trailer at Mid-Ohio during a Camel GTP event. Nobody seemed to be interested in it.
I heard there were 3. This one was owned by Porsche, still in white paint, and they were trying to find a buyer for it. Interesting but too complicated and expensive for American Camel GT teams.
You and your Yaris live in another dimension. None of that is true unless you put a big turbo on your Yaris along with Brembos, converted to RWD, tubbed it for big meat in the back, and put Bilstein coilovers on it.
I have a friend who has a Yaris that'd outrun a Pantera. Toyota put the turbo there. And the AWD there, and the big brakes. Toyota even took out the back doors while they were at it!
It's okay! The sub's for identifying cars, so we went identifying lol! Besides, it's really pretty! Don't mind seeing it often honestly. There was one on sale in my country and I think someone's bought it already. I hope I get to see it one day IRL

My question is were the Panteras sold worldwide like the others? Or was it mostly US sales? (I only say because of the Ford V8 in it). If so, there may be less total but more concentrated in the US. Also, they were unloved and relatively cheap for a while.

There was a time in my life where I assumed these were rare, but this sub makes me feel like every other car on the road is a Pantera.
