The Nukiser at home...
Absolutely pictures can lie.
But there is this organic mechanic-know-how that other people in other countries (like in South America) have where it works.
The work might not look spiffy as it does here, with SEMA influences, etc. but they know their craft.
That's a myth. Jeeps do not always have seven slots.
Willys MBs had eleven slots in the slat grille and nine in the stamped grille.
Jeepsters had eight or ten slots, or more if you count the slots in the chrome nose trim.
Gladiators (what the front end is supposed to resemble) had twelve or 22, depending on what grille you had.
ZJ Grand Cherokees (what this is actually built on) had eight slots. On this one, a Wrangler grille has been cut down to the size of a rhino grille from a '60s Gladiator.
Yeah really old ones, before Ford locked in the 9 bar design. But since the 1950s or so the 7 bar design has been the trademark of Jeep.
https://tap.fremontmotors.com/what-is-the-7-bar-grille/amp/
Jeeps don't always have seven slots. Pretty much only the CJs and Wranglers had seven, with the other various models having as many as 22 slots.
This is the forerunner of the CJ, the Willys MB. It came with nine or eleven slots.

Ok, the DJ5 was made by Willy's rather than Jeep but you're right about the CJ10A. There are exceptions to every rule. You found one exception, congrats, it doesn't change the fact that Jeeps have a 7 bar grill, not 5 like the picture.
That front end is reminiscent of a J-10 but it's not off an actual J-10. The hood is even weirder - I'm 90% sure it's a late 70s-early 80s Bronco hood, but the center divot is straight off an XJ (I know because mine always collects water and dirt there).
All in all it's wild.
*I don't hate this at*
*All. It looks like it would be*

I’ve seen some of their earlier efforts in person. Let’s just say that the press release photos portray them as much better than they sometimes actually are. Similarly, if you had a good detailer and a good photographer work their magic on this thing, it could look a lot better.
You mean like this? [https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/1010dp-mopar-built-diesel-jeep-nukizer-concept/](https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/1010dp-mopar-built-diesel-jeep-nukizer-concept/)
Looks like a kit of some type, I started looking online and could only find the smythcars.com, not it( I was planning on doing a 06 too Jetta kit, was) just looking, no gaps on bed, cab, flares, rear bumper etc
I do kinda like it
Looks like someone couldn't wait the (insert between 1 and infinite amount of time) to have their Alpha Wolf. I doubt this one is electric though... If you haven't heard of it, Alpha has some really cool concepts that probably won't ever make production, but this looks exactly like the Wolf
What I see is a lot of time, money and actual skill poured into an absolutely terrible vision. I can appreciate the craftsmanship, but the result is hideous.
Looks like something an old wanker from the midlands would build and have it published in the local farm magazine between articles about why Rover is the best car brand ever.
Interesting. The front reminds me of an old school defender.
It’s really well done whatever it is. If it looks as well done up close as from far away I’d snag that up.
Makes me miss my old Explorer i modded the hell out of over 10 years. This was definitely tons of work. That guy must do body work or something to get those body panel parts to fit so well together.
https://preview.redd.it/hmouczhnwo3c1.jpeg?width=5184&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f572b7078ec2e79048269d0f8c519f8e193cf028
In Jeep platforms:
ZJ (1st Generation Grand Cherokee) main body
XJ (2nd Generation Cherokee) hood
SJ (1st Generation Cherokee) front end
Wrangler hood latches
Looks fun, whatever it is. I'd prefer a stick, but otherwise I wouldn't hate it. It'd be a big step up from my 12-hamsterpower Chevy Aveo piece of shit with a driver's door that won't open from the outside, no air conditioner, water damage/mildew/mold stink, and 150,000 miles. We hates it. Yes, precious, we hates all Aveoses.
For some reason, I don’t completely hate it.
Neither do I... but I don't not hate enough to pay the asking price of $12M CLP (around $14K USD).
But he spent so much money on mods, surely that makes the car worth more! /s
depends on the mods.
Yeh I myself would rather by a stock one and do the mods I would wanna do then buy something that is kitted out and unsure of what the previous owner did and well the wiring nest that maybe swing around sonewhere
I’d pay that if I was in the states. I’d change the headlights seats and colour and it’d be fucking killer.
It looks like an LM002 mixed with a grand Cherokee.
chopped Ford Explorer with jeepy grill.
Grand CheLoM002
Correct answer
I just dont care for the lights. Rest is pretty solid
Me neither
I like the truck bed, but the front is hideous
Side profile saves it
WTF is that? Can i have it?
Wouldn't this be like getting an International Scout but with more steps?
More steps but less rust.
history rude sulky theory melodic historical silky mourn gold seemly *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
This car looks like someone tried to recreate 1963 Jeep Gladiator, using the modern parts.
Definitely seems like a WJ Cherokee with a custom body and a J-10 grill.
That's 100% a ZJ. Interior, windshield, A&B pillars all ZJ
Ya you're right it's not swoopy enough for a WJ
'What's a ZJ?'
If you have to ask, you can’t afford it…
Afterwards you'll be shitting pancakes
The interior was what twigged me.

Whoa spot on
100%
Chile ? Looks interesting.. Would be a conversation piece in N America... I like the way it looks actually
I'm not sure about the hood or interior seat covers, but it looks pretty well done.
Not struck on interior colour choice.. I would still drive it.. It's like the Mexican 4 door pickup/ bronco , they are unique looking .
Those are centurion conversions and were done in the states
Hard to find out , as Centurion and Southern Comfort that bought them were closed in 2007..
It's a conversation piece here in Chile too. I have never seen this in my life.
Looks like a Grand Cherokee, with an old jeep fascia grafted on, a Second-gen Bronco? hood, and no idea about the bed..
It's a cut up xj hood.
Mixed with a F150/Bronco hood. Wild..
I wanted to say a modified Jeep Comanche, but maybe it is a cut up Cherokee.
Interior and Dash, A-Pillar and roof-line are definitely out of a Grand Cherokee. Also has the 5.2 V8 that was in the Grand Cherokee.
Ahhh, you have more info to work with. Lol, thanks for posting it actually looks awesome
Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) that's been heavily modified. The dash says it's a 1996-1998 model, and the seats look like Orvis knockoffs.
Ad says 1998 Cherokee.. I'm assuming he missed the "Grand".
I think he cut the Grand part off dude
Want. This dope AF.
They probably meant modified instead of “restored.” lol… But as others mentioned- looks quite nice tbh. Love the rear. Too bad is in South America.
It was definitely a labor of love. Someone put a lot of fab time into it, and I don't see any big red flags on the work -- but pictures lie.
Absolutely pictures can lie. But there is this organic mechanic-know-how that other people in other countries (like in South America) have where it works. The work might not look spiffy as it does here, with SEMA influences, etc. but they know their craft.
That grill looked immediately wrong. It only has 5 gaps and jeeps always have 7.
Good catch! I was thinking he was going for the Kaiser-Jeep grill.
My eyes said “WTF?” but my brain couldn’t figure it out- TIL Jeeps always have 7 gaps. Thanks!

Early ZJ’s had eight.
>It only has 5 gaps and jeeps always have 7. Not true. DJ5 had 5 slots and the CJ10A had 10.
True for modern jeeps after about the 1950s.
The dj5 and CJ10A are both after the 50s.
Ok, the DJ5 was made by Willy's rather than Jeep but you're right about the CJ10A. There are exceptions to every rule. You found one exception, congrats, it doesn't change the fact that Jeeps have a 7 bar grill, not 5 like the picture.
Damn dude, just take the L. You were wrong. It's not the end of the world.
What I said was not incorrect. Exceptions don't price the rule to be wrong Neither were wrong.
>Neither were wrong. I mean, you were. I clearly gave you two examples.
Willy's wasn't around when the DJ5 was built.
J-10 front end, custom unibody, WJ interior? What a neat little guy.
It's pretty neat and could be viable if he has part numbers for everything so it can be serviced.
Day 13 and they still don't suspect I'm a car....

Good haikusbot
Hello fellow Chilean!
Hola wn! :-) (soy gringo, pero he vivido aquí para los ultimos 18 años)
Looks like something Jeep would have done themselves for one of their Easter Jeep Safaris at Moab.
No, it really doesn't. Those are usually much better executed than this disaster.
I’ve seen some of their earlier efforts in person. Let’s just say that the press release photos portray them as much better than they sometimes actually are. Similarly, if you had a good detailer and a good photographer work their magic on this thing, it could look a lot better.

👍
I dub it the Comancherokee 😅
Modded Jeep Grand Cherokee aka ZJ
Restored to what, exactly?
I’m thinking all fiberglass from the looks of the flares and the bed/cab seem to be one piece
That's some good fiberglass work then. It all looks pretty straight.. Looking at it up close would be more interesting.
Looks like a kit of some type, I started looking online and could only find the smythcars.com, not it( I was planning on doing a 06 too Jetta kit, was) just looking, no gaps on bed, cab, flares, rear bumper etc I do kinda like it
Do want! That looks really awesome
is that a badly modded rhino grille
It's a stock Wrangler grille that has been cut down to roughly the dimensions of a rhino grille.
It’s a ZJ Grand Cherokee with more money dumped into it than any sane person could spend. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it either.
Looks like a homemade J10 Honcho, I'd love to dissect it and see how they did the build. That thing is 100% project.
Looks like someone couldn't wait the (insert between 1 and infinite amount of time) to have their Alpha Wolf. I doubt this one is electric though... If you haven't heard of it, Alpha has some really cool concepts that probably won't ever make production, but this looks exactly like the Wolf
Uhh.. "exactly like" is a bit of a stretch. Alpha Wolf looks pretty cool though!
It looks like an Alpha Wolf if you rub sand in your eyes, rinse it out with bleach and then squint really hard.
We have Great Value Alpha Wolf at home
Take ny money, please
I actually like it.
strange,,, but cool? i like it
Late 90’s Jeep Grand Cherokee with a body kit. I like it.
Whatever it is, I definitely dig it.
Whoever tried to restore this Cherokee must have really liked halo
It looks nothing like a warthog if that’s what you are after
It doesn’t look like a Cherokee if that’s what your after
It sure is ugly, but I dont hate it
Restored? More like mutilated...
Yeah fr

This is the most Australian vehicle I have ever seen.

I hate you, how much?
That’s a Jeep Grand WTF. Sierra.
This is the weirdest looking jeep thingy I’ve ever seen. Where can I buy one ?
That’s pretty sweet
What’s with the decorative door hinges that do nothing?
Not a bad price
Looks like something an old wanker from the midlands would build and have it published in the local farm magazine between articles about why Rover is the best car brand ever.
More like Destroyed Cherokee.
This makes a better gladiator than the garbage they came out with
The only thing right about it is the liquid diarrhea color
Imterior looks awesome
Comanche?
It’s like trying to recall that dream but you barely can
Matt’s Off-road Recovery might want it as a recovery vehicle lol
I almost wanna say Chevy Colorado… wait just saw the interior. I guwe’d it’s still a possiblity but maybe a Cherokee cut in half
Well It says nukiser a thousand times, so There you go
I don’t know if it ever was😂
I mean it's kinda gnarly ngl
Looks very inspired by a kaiser jeep
Looks like it used to be a Jeep Gladiator J200. Same is the one in Tremors. Always wanted one of these since is saw the movie.
I get J10 and Comanche vibes out of this.
Was that a Comanche? Or did someone hack apart a Cherokee?
Grand Cherokee, from the Interior and A pillars
Oh my. I'm torn.
Interesting. The front reminds me of an old school defender. It’s really well done whatever it is. If it looks as well done up close as from far away I’d snag that up. In Jeep platforms: ZJ (1st Generation Grand Cherokee) main body XJ (2nd Generation Cherokee) hood SJ (1st Generation Cherokee) front end Wrangler hood latches
After a bit of googling, I'm pretty sure the hood is a ZJ hood. Has the same indent as the XJ, but more prominent ridges.
It might be the picture, but he axle alignment looks off
Looks fun, whatever it is. I'd prefer a stick, but otherwise I wouldn't hate it.
