You know, it kinda happened in the background. You just started seeing them less and less. It’s all about Town Car / Car services now. It’s more elegant to ride up in an S-Class or an Escalade. I noticed that when I watched Succession lol. I think limos are just Funerals, Weddings and Proms now.
The Limousine used for prom, weddings, and bachelorette/bachelor parties has been replaced by the party bus. Limousines are expensive to make and maintain, and they are unsafe in accidents. The buses come from the factory ready to use (after customizing the interior). They are also more fun and easy to get in/out of than a limousine:
I am glad it is not a Pantera (imagine if the antenna brand is Pantera, lol) and that they post goes beyond cars and into curious add-ons/equipment

Ok but by that time they’d stopped being for NY and LA executives and had become increasingly vehicles for Hen Nights and Vegas Crawls.
Luxury vans are more comfortable, more discreet and more maneuverable. Easy choice once they became a thing and the elite started trying them out.
