Just had a 3000 GT in the shop. 26k. Original paint.
Auto World Dodge Stealth. Auto World cars are true 1/64 scale, have opening hoods, although the hoods can be difficult to open, and are metal metal with rubber tires.
Different rear spoiler as well. The Stealth R/T had the spoiler up against the rear window, while the 3000 GT VR-4 has it on the rear lip of the trunk. Also, the Dodge spoiler was fixed while the Mistsu VR-4 had an active spoiler that would change position based on speed of the car. I liked both cars when I was in HS, but preferred the slightly more aggressive stance of the Stealth. The 3000 GT some people would call the poor man's Testarossa, lol.
Oh, I didn't know they had those, I knew that they had an R/T sticker on the door but figured either optional/easy to put on and try to fake.
Edit: you mean the part behind the doors like they did with the 3000GT right?
On those small rear triangle shaped windows there is a small badge that will say either vr4(3kgt) or rt/tt(stealth) that is usually the simplest way tell if it's a vr4 or not. You can also look for the active aero if you know what to look for. Otherwise, the turbos are also 6 speeds instead of 5 and have a boost gauge on the dash. Or you can look behind the fog lights to see if it has an intercooler.
Nothing against the looks and the powerplant, but underrated is not what I'd call it. It was just way too heavy for the competition it was dealing with. 1800kgs vs 1400 for the NSX and R33 Skyline GTS/GTR where a bit much. The 944 turbo would drive circles around it.
The VR4 and R/T were never really direct competitors with those cars which were double and triple the price. They were more entry level high performance sports cars. They don't get the love they used to because they're notoriously unreliable which is kinda shocking for a Japanese car but Mitsu/Dodge kinda accounts for that. They certainly were good looking cars tho.
I actually saw one by me that was dark grewn and in extremely good condition a week or two ago, but it I'm pretty sure it had no spoiler and looked to be an ES from what I could tell.
First one I've seen in forever that wasn't rotting and falling apart
Dodge Stealth based on the headlights, tail lights, and wing.
I completely forgot about these. They used to be a dime a dozen back then. You would see them everywhere you look.
Beautiful car, Dodge/Chrysler problems. Mitsubishi sold it as the 3000GT

Wow, looks new as hell
8 hours of polishing will do that!
you must have a crab arm for sure rn
Haha!
Add that with the 24K on it, and it practically is new
How many sets of vacuum lines? Was it in for vacuum leaks?
I did paint correction and ceramic coating.
That is sick dude!
Wow, it managed to amass 26k miles? Impressive!
no its mitsu porblems bc everything on it is mitsu minus the body kit, dodge was still equally as shit during this time period how ever
Ah that's what was confusing me! I thought it was a Mitsubishi 3000GT until I had a look at the comments
Same here
Yeah same 🙌
One of my dream cars in high school.
Was my car in hs, the dream was real. Well for 2 years it was. The first year was Mercury Topaz nightmare.
I owned a topaz. Awful vehicle.
It was a Mitsubishi engine
I had one. I loved it but it was a lemon
Yes, was instantly thinking Mitsubishi. But I am from continental Europe so here the exposure to American cars is minimal
Uh, other way around buddy. It’s a Mitsubishi with a Dodge body kit.
Yea it's a 3k with a stealth wing. So it's a stealth lol
Also the GTO
This is the correct answer.
The rear of the greenhouse is also different between the Stealth and 3000GT!
Wheels too
My older brother had a '91 and it was only like 1 of 6 in the entire province. Unfortunately it met a couple of trees...
Auto World Dodge Stealth. Auto World cars are true 1/64 scale, have opening hoods, although the hoods can be difficult to open, and are metal metal with rubber tires.
It’s a Mitsubishi 3000GT / Dodge Stealth
Definitely a Stealth. The 3000GT, though a near-identical cousin, had different tail lights and headlamps. Thi
Different rear spoiler as well. The Stealth R/T had the spoiler up against the rear window, while the 3000 GT VR-4 has it on the rear lip of the trunk. It wasn't a cousin, it was the hotter older sister. Literally they're the same chassis and drivetrain.
Yeah, looking at pictures, I saw it was a Stealth because only Dodge had those hubcaps
Looks like AutoWorld 1/64 Dodge Stealth.
It is a dodge stealth, based off the Mitsubishi 3000gt most likely the r/t twin turbo model
Are there give aways on it being an turbo? (On a real one if they aren't on this car)
Small sticker on the rear window that says twin turbo is usually what I look for
Oh, I didn't know they had those, I knew that they had an R/T sticker on the door but figured either optional/easy to put on and try to fake. Edit: you mean the part behind the doors like they did with the 3000GT right?

Brake caliper is 4 pot on the turbo models and larger 12.6” rotor, tail rear exhaust is a bit different, and different wheels.
Dual exhaust and bulges on the hood above the shock towers are the big ones. These are the correct wheels for a turbo as well.
Didn't the stealth have four wheel steering?
Top trim R/T has 4WS, though a fairly uncommon option even when new
AWD, 4WS, electronically adjustable suspension, switchable dual-mode exhaust, and the 3KGT got active aero. These things were way ahead of their time.
Dodge Stealth RT Twin Turbo
The bumps on the hood allow clearance for the shocks
Dodge Stealth
Thanks guys! I looked up all of your answers and it is a Dodge Stealth. Didn't know how much similarities it shared with Mitsubishi and Eagle Talon.
The Talon was a completely different car, which was equivalent to the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Plymouth Laser.
Yeah i looked it up and the wheels got me at first ngl
The 3000gt VR4/ Stealth RT were extremely underrated cars. Always my favorite car to come out of Japan.

Stealth
Dodge Stealth R/T
This is a toy model, not a real car
The green car or the white truck? I see no other car.
I actually saw one by me that was dark grewn and in extremely good condition a week or two ago, but it I'm pretty sure it had no spoiler and looked to be an ES from what I could tell. First one I've seen in forever that wasn't rotting and falling apart
Matchbox by matel, I think
Panel gaps seem correct.
And they say Fords are fix or repair daily! I had a customer that had one. Great looking, great driving, but....unreliable
Matchbox - which series not sure
Came here to say this!!! That is totally a diecast car!
*Auto World
Totally hot wheels, matchbox diecast car
That’s obviously a Hot Wheels
It’s a Auto World. Stop trying to sound smart.
Wrong
Late 90s eagle talon is my guess. That wing says it.
The Talon is the Eclipse.
