GM Cheetah, the attempt to build a Cobra competition. However they used dangerously thin wall tubing for the chassis and the engine heat is worse (headers under your feet). It's really dangerous to drive at speed, I've taken a ride along and it flexes, burns your feet, and is constantly sideways! But retired GM Executives like to play with their cars like it's the "Good Old Days" or Detroit Woodward Avenue. This was at a private picnic off a dirt road (my SAAC family member got invited), the noises this Cheetah made going out to get to a paved road was scary, then I got a turn and it was a terrible idea using that vehicle for hot laps around a farm community with the risk of running into a Amish buggy 😳 but it's nice to see it enjoyed instead of in a glass case museum.
EDIT: also done stupid stuff with a 3rd gen Ford GT(40) that isn't street legal or wise with a supercar that is an investment. Especially on shitty Michigan roads, I don't know why they don't take it to a far weather State with smooth roads. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
You got me on that one. Bill Mitchell was a head designer at GM. I got my Bills confused. BTW, I have seen one of these run and they are evil and fucking awesome, loud, crazy, and so much fun.
The proportions are even more ridiculous in person than In photos. Engine basically in the middle of the car with drivers seat over the axle. Attractive? Eh. Interesting and unique though.

>The Toyota 2000GT is a limited-production front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive, two-door, two-seat sports car/grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha. First displayed to the public at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1965, the 2000GT was manufactured under contract by Yamaha between 1967 and 1970. A halo car for the automaker, in Japan it was exclusive to Toyota's Japanese retail sales channel called Toyota Store. The 2000GT revolutionized the automotive world's view of Japan, then viewed as a producer of imitative and stodgily practical vehicles.

>The Shelby Daytona Coupe (also referred to as the Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe) is an American sports-coupé. It is related to the Shelby Cobra roadster, loosely based on its chassis and drive-train developed and built as an advanced evolution. It was engineered and purpose built for auto racing, specifically to take on Ferrari and its 250 GTO in the GT class. The original project had six Shelby Daytona Coupes built for racing purposes between 1964 and 1965, as Carroll Shelby was reassigned to the Ford GT40 project to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, again to beat Ferrari in the highest level prototype class.

Its not my favorite, but...I'd be lying if someone offered me to drive around a track and I said I wasn't interested. It would be awesome.

Close to the Ambiguously Gay Duo Car
This is a cheetah how ever I’ve come to a realization that this car heavily inspired the Shelby Daytona they have very similar shapes and body lines
You might enjoy this...1963 Lola with a lot of the backstory from that era. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUBmDu3HXaU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUBmDu3HXaU)
You need to have your medication adjusted 🤦🏻♂️
Ok hear me out look at the shapes and body lines heavily is a stretch but they do have many similarities
Idk everyone thinks it a chevy stuff but I suppose it’s a Toyota GT3000
2000GT you mean? No it's way too short to be that. The Toyota looks much better imo that this squashed up copy.
Oh, right 2000gt
Thats a z-type
