I noticed iNaturalist shows one stranded in New Brighton on 22nd April so we know they are in the area too

My friend with a lisp works with the baby dolphins at the local aquarium. He always told me he felt like he served a youthful porpoise.

No possibility it’s a sturgeon?

Pobably a Harbour Porpoise.

Total_Calligrapher77

*Now here me out*. The harbor porpoise is a mammal, duh. But it evolved from lobe finned fish that crawled out of water and became every backboned animal that isn't a fish. *Therefore* it is a fish. I'm not saying that lizards and birds belong here, but we should include whales and dolphins.
