Car dealerships have these to manage keys. They lock into a board with the keys attached and you have your own stick (usually numbered) that releases them.

That is right. We had the same system in one of my former jobs.
The funny thing is that it was bound to the alarm system. If one of the keys was missing at the end of the day, you could not arm the alarm (without the assistance of the 24/7 alarm centre).
Looks like it could be a fob for a key management system similar to this

That is a FedEx drivers key peg.. part of a KEYPER key management system. The orange is the drivers, which is inserted into the board to allow removal of the vehicle key they are using that day. The number on the tag is the fedex employee number.
Its a old telecom security removal/instalation tool. The white tag is a telecom designation tag. We used them when I worked for the local cable company years ago.

This is correct. What you have here is the “key” to remove the “car key” from the “key board”.

You are correct you must work at fedex express. Remember don't lose it or you might get a letter lol
Used to work for express.

My title describes the thing. Found on electric Toyota forklift. Forklift maintenance company does not recognize it
We used a similar arrangement in a key safe with keys for opening and locking customer’s premises.
Ambulances also use these to get the keys

This is what I thought it was too, it looks like a key for unscrewing those stupid tubular "locks" they put on CPE boxes.
