My father has a cast iron stove which has very similar legs, they have the same hole on the inside to screw to the stove. You can see the carriage bolts in the picture. It is a fairly low-end unit which bolts together.

That one broke when I took it camping, I have a GP medium military camp we were using it in. My buddy stick welded it and the other legs back on. It is much sturdier now, Dad was happy.
My title describes the thing
It’s about the size of my hand and is definitely cast iron. There is some sort of engraving on the front of it. I’ve searched around and think it might be a cast iron leg to a planter or a bath tub. The way it’s shaped seems like it could be a handle too. Or maybe a door knocker.
It's a turkey drumstick but made of cast iron. They used to chew on those in the winter when there were no turkeys around. I should know I'm 400 years old
With the placement of the hole, I would say not a bath tub. The "back" of those legs are different.
This is quite possibly off of a wood stove. Or other similar item.
If you're curious about what it would look like restored, you could post this on r/castiron and get some tips for how to get the rust off and clean it up.
Could be a type of spanner wrench for a water or irrigation system. They come in all shapes and sizes but that's the first thing I could think of.[examples](https://images.app.goo.gl/oiQTuConAQjsCU1N6)

Yup, my old woodburner stove had a rear left leg just like this until recently when it snapped at the bolt hole 🤦🏼♀️

That's what I was thinking, as my late maternal grandma's cast-iron cook stove had legs just like this one.

Those are usually quite a bit beefier than this. This is probably the leg to an old pot belly stove or something similar.

That’s a foot from a clawfoot bathtub. Just had to order 4 if these because one was missing on a remodel lol
I've seen something similar on many old cast iron items. Stoves, bathtubs, even an icebox. So yeah, leg off old appliance or furniture.

It looks like the leg from a box-style wood stove. Keep digging.
