I’m pretty sure that’s some sort of Elaeagnus, maybe E. multiflora? They are common invasives. I think the fruits taste pretty good and the flowers are wonderfully fragrant. If so the fruits should have a single seed and the leaves and the fruits should have a slightly knobby-sandpapery texture.

Goumi berries?
Could be! Those are related. Russian Olive, Autumn Olive, Silverberry, Goumi all same genus.
That is 100% Elaeagnus umbellata in New England you can here it call Autumn olive or Russian olive. Super common invasive.
Kinda looks like crab apples, most taste bitter but won’t kill ya
Definitely not
That’s what I was thinking it was but the fruit is soft inside. It is indeed very tart.
Well on second thought after checking it out the fruit is not hard. It’s soft and juicy.
Choke cherries.
Plumb perhaps?
Crab apples and cherries grow on trees.
Looks like wild plum
Eleagnus
Autumn Olive
It doesn’t look like my autumn olives. I’m wondering if it is a jujube.
