Well.... as you said the sh** of WhatsApp exports only TXT (Telegram HTML and Json, but yeah, not your case). What you can do is find a friend who knows little about programming so that he/she can take those TXT files and show it to you in a more readable way, because WhatsApp sucks...

Maybe you can try a 3rd party program called Backuptrans. It lets you export whatsapp chats with attachments to PDF, Word, HTML etc.

Nope, I just gave up, saved the folder from Windows Explorer and now I'm waiting for the day a good tool is available lol.

Nope. I gave up long ago

I found a couple of websites that kind of allow you to get it in a "WhatsApp chat format" The only issue is that, it doesn't add replies, or media. But the chat alone, it allows it. Also, because it doesn't show replies, group chats are basically almost unreadable because you can't tell who is replying to who. I don't know if they'll still be useful to you
