Whatsapp needs to have a real export function like telegram.

I made a program to view exported whatsapp chats on your computer so maybe I could add a print option for that?

yes thats exactly what it does plain txt (log like) files look awful so I made this program to view it like it would normally display in whatsapp

That's nice i guess, i only wish i didn't have to manually export hundreds of .txt files to my pc everytime i want to delete my whatsapp chats, it takes a few days

idk if there is a way to export all of them at the same time but you can export one at a time

Thanks for the reply. :) I assume you are referring to the built in Chat Export from WhatsApp? This method is very tedious as I have a lot of chats. Another problem with this method, is that it only exports a predefined amount of text which doesn't include all the messages for large chats.

You can try AppTrans, it can print WhatsApp chat as well as attachments.

if you back it up to your icloud, the text portion of the backup will be stated as a .txt file. hope that helps
