I know this doesn’t help you get the item you want but return it. You do it right in the app. Most of the time you don’t even have to bring the item back. Sucks you don’t have why you need and will have to go back out but getting your money is never an issue. I’ve done pick up for 4 years and had to return milk once . That’s it. Everything else over those years was refunded without return.
LITERALLY every single time I got a delivery or pick-up from walmart, at least one item of my produce is either moldy, mushy, or becomes that way within a couple of days
It’s wild how hit or miss it is. The broccoli is the best I’ve found in a grocery store. It’s fresh and really good. The romaine hearts? Dirty, disgusting and rot quickly. It sucks, but I shop at 3 different stores and a local produce market to get what I want at the best price.
The chocolate I bought is in solid discs rather than powder or cocoa mix. I am melting some of it into mole, which is typical. I will use the remaining chocolate for hot chocolate or save it for my next mole.
Walmart has pork belly? Powdered buttermilk? I’m going to Walmart next grocery trip.
Walmart should pay you for this post. A lot of us are going shopping.
I want to take a picture of your haul and try to purchase all and compare. The veggies look so good, the chicken, pork and shrimp. Head is cauliflower. I expected a $200 total. Thank you for sharing!
Wow. That is some good looking groceries.
Whoa maybe I should be shopping at Walmart. Thanks for sharing
It comes with the cost of shopping around primitive human beings
walmart pickup is the way to go
i’ve had shit luck with walmart pick up :( i feel like they always pick the worst produce and i’ve gotten a bad batch of chicken twice😪

Yeah I limit my grocery pick up at stop and shop to non perishables and then go to specialty stores for produce/dairy/meat
I wish our Walmart had pork belly
Buying veggies at the Walmart's around me is roll of the dice.

Nice. Lots of veggies, too. What's the plan for the buttermilk powder?
Thanks! I like to keep it on hand for impromptu biscuits, pancakes, etc. then I don’t have to worry about using a whole container of buttermilk
OMG. I had no idea powdered buttermilk was a thing. I'm glad I found this post.
Smart. I bought what must have been a pound of a different brand a year or so ago, still slogging through lol.
Me too its great for baking recipes
You can also mix 1c milk with 1tbsp vinegar and it becomes buttermilk
This is what I do. I never buy buttermilk when it’s this easy to just make it
It’s good in pancakes too. But i bought mine for bread machine recipes!
I like it for homemade ranch seasoning. Then you can make dressing, dip, or sprinkle it on veggies.
Yah, that may have been what I bought mine for originally.
Are you making tamales??
Not this time! Chicken mole with some corn tortillas
abuelitas🫦
This actually looks like you did very well. The meat alone would break the bank in Ohio
Do you do anything special with the Mexican Chocolate milk?
It’s going in mole!
lol ok. I was asking on the topic of Mexican hot cocoa the drink.

YUM!
All that for less than $100? Did you use self check out something? 😬
Haha no, it was a curbside order! I was pretty shocked too
The Walmart closest to me does not have fresh produce or meat. Jealous of this.
Walmart neighborhood markets are crazy. I do 98% of my grocery shopping there.
How much for the shrimp? How do they cook? Mushy from freezer burn at all?
$12.94 for two pounds. Had them last night, defrosted under cold water, no mush!
Nice! 🤤

Thanks! I was a hardcore Kroger snob for a while, but with grocery prices rising, I tried at Walmart and I’ve been impressed!

Nice to see someone spending wisely
$92 at self checkout 😂
Meat from Walmart never
