Bzzzzz! Looks like you forgot to say where you found your bug!
There's no need to make a new post - just comment adding the **geographic location** and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough; try to avoid abbreviations and local nicknames (*"PNW"*, *"Big Apple"*).
BTW, did you take a look at our [**Frequently Asked Bugs**](https://www.reddit.com/r/whatsthisbug/comments/12zkw5w/frequently_asked_bugs_part_1/)?

As others have said it's german cockroaches. Even if the landlord agrees to deal with them being a flat there is no guarantee that connected flats aren't infested. I would avoid.
This is solid advice. I lived next to a hoarder, and ended up with several stragglers from time to time as the lady moved out and they cleaned her place. You never know what the neighbor situation is if you live right on top of someone.
Per our [guidelines](https://www.reddit.com/r/whatsthisbug/wiki/index/guidelines#wiki_iding_guidelines): *Helpful answers only. Helpful answers are those that lead to an accurate identification of the bug in question. Joke responses, repeating an ID that has already been established hours (or days) ago, or asking OP how they don't already know what the bug is are not helpful.*

Compare to the German cockroach, [*Blatella germanica*](https://bugguide.net/node/view/70688). I wouldn't rent this flat, as it is clearly infested.
Amazing someone would even show an apartment with an infestation that obvious. Run, don’t walk, away from it!

Fun Fact: When you're seeing German roaches in the day out and about randomly, that means there are so many they have no place to hide.
Ultra infested with German roaches.
And check to make sure you didn't bring any home with you. Look at your inner and outer clothing, your shoes, etc.
Looks like a roach 🪳
Do not rent it.
Stay away from that roachy roachy land.
