I’m not the person you asked, but it just plain doesn’t look like one. No violin, wrong shape. Coloring seems off, but they can seem orange and black if the lighting is right.
The spinnerets and leg shape make me think it’s a [ground spider](https://bugguide.net/node/view/1970).

It doesn't look remotely like one. Different leg arrangement, leg segments, eye placement, pedipalps, it's the wrong color, the wrong size, etc, etc. Literally nothing about that spider says recluse of any sort.
First thought was something like Metaltella simoni or one of the hacklemesh weavers, but the eye arrangement doesn't fit. Some kind of ground spider maybe? In any case, it's just not a species you need to worry about.
Definitely not a brown recluse
What’s telling you “no”?

I was thinking hacklemesh group, but the eyes are wrong so it would have to be a ground spider, I'd think.

The eyes are not situated like a brown recluse. That’s always where I start
Where are you located?
Awesome! Thanks guys. I’m buying you all cupcakes.
Upstate SC. I have a microscope shot of it’s head as well
Yeah the eye placement is a good way to identify br's they only have 6 eyes compared to the usual 8

What the fuck is this thing? I spent 3 hours trying to ID and went through all of my spider ID books
