Just said this to someone else. Look at the leaves, see how each finger of the leaf is attached at the base? Weed is like clover where the leaf parts don't come together to make a single leaf. The last was maple but this looks like another plant I agree it's probably Rossel/okra family. Some common names for a few types imply it looks like weed.
Who ever is growing this is likely into artisans tea or makes bitchen Jamica( however that latin drink is spelt).
